Description
This was a personal illustration that I did back before I had no time left to myself. Part of the exercise of this was to figure out what makes things look "real." I know that there's more to art than trying to duplicate what you see, but there's also something to be said for learning how to make stuff look believable.

I categorized this as mixed media because I didn't paint the cathedral in the background. It's manipulated from a photograph of the Sainte Chapelle from Wikipedia.

References: the man's face is from a screenshot of RDJ from Iron Man. (found at: [link] . Their server has crashed and so I can't get a link to the exact image I used now, but as soon as it's back online I'll get the link up)

**Edit: The girl DOES look like Evanna Lynch (the girl who played Luna Lovegood in the HP movies) but it wasn't intentional. I did her face without reference. When I was done painting her, though, I noticed the resemblance too! Kinda like how in my Winter Coats [link] the girl ended up looking like Ellen Page to me, even though I just painted a face without trying to make it look like her. Funny how those things happen.
