Description
I was pretty happy that i manage to get a copy of Osamu Tezuka's 1997 re-released version of 'Jungle Emperor' and what happen next totally blows me away. The animation was so welly done much better than the original kimba. A lot of details as usual, characters have been refined but still maintain back Tezuka's original style. The story is a compressed adaption version of the original manga, a little bit rush. The english translation was not bad as well.But somehow a lot of people complained that Lion King was a Jungle Emperor ripped off as Lion King have some similiar elements similiar to Jungle Emperor even the story are almost the same. But was the 1997 re-released version of Jungle Emperor a point the japanese trying to prove to Disney that they can do better? Can Lion King really stands it's ground claiming to be original? if u ask me i can only answer with this comic strip.

I think I am holdin' the same ground as you are! There are obvisou similarities, yet obvisous DIFFERENCES as well between the two, and quite frankly, I'm sick and tired of this old argument. Your COmic RULEZ!
Also, you are AMAZING at emulating both different styles! That Simba LOOKS "disney", and that Kimba LOOKS "Tezuka"!!! You are so amazing!

hee hee, i'm glad u notice that, well, can't underestimate the power of the animator's observation, the force is strong on this one.
kimba have a much thicker mane while simba have more fine mane. as for Alpheleo very little mane.

ya, jungle emperor was the original title, when the american dubbed it to kimba the white lion and leo of the jungle. hey let me tell u another disney ripped off, Alantis was actually a ripped off version of Nadia secret of blue water.
