Description
I'm currently working on the art trade, but i do find myself pretty much inactive for the moment so here are some of my sketches i did on Bernald Fox and his gang on their daily life style on camp. some i'm pretty happy how it turn out while others are sort of ok, all sketches was never been colored nor clean up, sometimes it is good they stay that way. more to come.Related content

Even though the pictures aren't cleaned up they still have so much personality. The expressions you give the characters are so well done it really sells the emotions.

gthat's a very interesting set of sketches, I like specially the cockpit one, however something bugs me about your sketchwork... why do the paper get to be that color on the scans?

ok, the paper of my sketch book is rather yellowist skin brown. so i dirrectlly scan it without adjusting the color, so what u see is the exact color from my sketch book.

The romantic look of the sketches.... Sometimes, when a sketch I draw looks funny and nice, and I try to ink it, and the finished inked lineart is not so good or not so charming, it's like a curse....
I have learnt to make a photocopy of the original sketches before inking when that happens, to save the nice look of the pencil lines....

i normally photocopy out the sketch to have it clean up, no i don't do inking, of caurse it is important to preserve the original sketch.

It not, you could curse yourself for destroying a nice and charming sketch with an unlucky cleaning up..... Yep, I know what you mean... That, in addition to that special feeling pencil drawings give you, and inked or cleaned picture don't... like in these sketches you have just submitted... the frishbee one, for example, it looks natural, like a nice and casual screenshoot of a life moment, and the unfinished look helps with that.... it would have been hard to keep that special feeling with a finished picture....

Beautiful sketches! I was waiting on something else from ya....I wish I could do stuff like that. I really need to work on characters interacting with other things and each other. Especially if I'm going to do a comic.

i'm have to admit it i'm personally not very good at sketching, especially i make a lot of mistake on it, normally during clean up i have most of the problem fixed and most of the time the final outlined picture always seems to be different form the sketch.

OK, i like to use 3B flat headed customized sketching pencil for rought outline, then i finallized the line with a sharp 3B or 4B pencil.
