Description Basic "ideological" lines of the author's setting of the U.F.S. , and in particular , sociological novel "Citizen 19F"

A) Speciecism

Bright representative of ideological direction in the story and related works - Colonel of Federal security department (The «CERA») Alois Zenger
Top " postulates " / ideological foundations - anthropocentrism , conservatism, social autarky / self-sufficiency.

Speciecists believe that humanity has "it's won way ", which it must pass taking decisions on their own , without the help of neither highly advanced artificial intelligence (which , according to the non-radical speciecists, may be useful , but should not take fundamental decisions for Humanity ) nor more advanced civilizations - if they will be met in the universe.
Speciecists are pragmatic, and , for the most part , do not put the "great ultimate goals " to all mankind , considering that the problems of civilization must be addressed as they arise . At the same time , supporters of the ideology (except the most radical speciecists ) does not consider it necessary to impose the interests of mankind to other cultures or impose human way of life and thinking to anybody ( Although the dominance of human interests is considered desirable - but not for the fundamental factor ) .
Speciescism comes with skepticism to the ideas of the human body modification , and denies the idea of " reinstallation / modifying" of basic biological needs as clearly detrimental to the development of human civilization . As a rule, the movement's supporters also oppose the "rabid" mastering the surrounding space inherent assimilationist .

B) Assimilationism

Bright representative of a trend in the story - Major Thomas Wanderno of the Federal Army of the U.F.S.
Top " postulates " / ideological foundations - imperialism , paternalism , domination .

Assimilationists are more idealistic than speciecists ; basis of ideology is the total mobilization of the resources available to keep strengthening , improving adaptability and expandability - extensive and qualitative - of "super-System/super-Organism" limits . Relatively ( though not completely ) assimilationist creed describes the phrase "Might is right "; therefore , aspirations supporters flow directed to the development of more sustainable as possible the formation and expansion of the boundaries of control over the surrounding space . Unlike speciecists , assimilationists often put some " single, ultimate goal " for Civilization and the any Consciousness as a whole - to achieve absolute , undeniable omnipotence , over to solutions of sequence paradoxes ( "logical inconsistencies " of Omnipotence ) . More " mundane " adepts of the flow talking about an ultimate Goal as achieving a certain " limit of development" - a situation where all ontologically possible is achieved , and only ontologically intractable problems remain unresolved. In achieving its goals , assimilationists neglected " obsolete " ( in their view ) conservation of mankind as a species ( depending on the " radicality " of supporters, it can be assumed extensive modification of the human body to improve the efficiency and adaptivity of " module ", or, for the ultra -assimilationists , a complete replacement of humans by more effective beings or machines ) , and argue that the basic biological needs of the form not only can, but must be rebuilt to meet the needs of amplification systems . Thus, assimilationists deny hedonistic philosophy of convergentialists and social conservatism of speciecists .
Assimilationists themselves ideologically divided into " extensive " (supporters of the primacy of the development of the surrounding space ) and " scients " (supporters of the primacy of knowledge of the universe to reverse-engineer it's laws ).

C) Convergent
Bright representative of a trend in the story - the chairman of the regional administration of KY-031F Juttha Narii
Top "postulates " / ideological foundations - hedonism, immortalism, individualism .

Convergentionists are closest to the "classical" ( of times of the Atomic Age) notions of transhumanism as a social movement ideological group , the fundamental value of the supporters is personal happiness . Stretched on as long as possible interval of time - ideally infinite. This , for the supporters of convergentionism is crucial ability to upgrade the human body - or replacement thereof to the other "support" - in order to prolong the existence of the individual. As long as such can remain happy - unlike assimilationists, infinitely long existence of individual , and even more so , the political formation, is not what convergentionists value by itself . According to the representatives , without the existence of an opportunity to be happy, eternity can not be regarded as a blessing . Convergentionists not consider decisions of artificial intelligence that it makes "for" mankind negative factor , if it pursues benevolent purpose , and the population is happy. Just ideology adherents do not consider human (and even organic ) body " untouchable shrine ," implying that the individual is free to choose for themselves available "shell" , guided by their own moral and ethical views. Nevertheless , as speciecists , convergentionists deny the necessity of amending the basic human needs .
In contrast to the propagation of opinions , hedonistic convergentionism not imply "humanist" or liberal views of it's followers ; cruelty and artificial social inequality ( allowing groups of people to dominate others ) is often perceived as another way of getting pleasure, no worse and no better than others.
