It had been a long time since Alwyn, or LRS Silver Fox as he had been known, had been in the show ring. His coat now graying with flecks of his age turning his one sleek and shiny dappled coat to something that resembled his show name much more closely, Alwyn was not the spry young stallion he had once been.

He had once competed for another stable, one he had not seen in a long time. After sitting idly by in his small stall for years without competing, he and many others had been sold off when the owner went bankrupt and had to give up the equestrian world. That was when Alwyn met Eleanor.

Eleanor Villarreal was a young girl of 16, firey and driven. No one could stand in her way. Together, Eleanor brought the show horse back out of Alwyn. She pushed him in a way he hadn't been pushed in years. She brought the star show jumper back out of him.

And now, he was back in the ring.

Pawing the ground restlessly, the stallion tossed his head. The sight of a sandy show ring sent excitement shooting up through his legs and into the rest of his body. It didn't bother him that it was snowing. Not at all. In fact, it only made him more excited for this adventure.

Finally, Eleanor gave him the gentle nudge to walk forward. Carrying his hooves and head high, one might have thought the older stallion was a dressage horse. All was revealed, however, when he took a flying leap over the first obsticle. Alwyn was no dressage horse. He was born to jump.
