No matter how much Martia tried, her grey mare, Vati, would not calm down. It felt like it had been forever since she'd competed. Forever since she'd been in the dressage ring. And she was foaming at the mouth to step foot inside that arena once more.
The sun just now rising over the land, it was truly a breathtaking sight. Being called into the ring at last, Martia and her mare made a dazzling entrace. Completing all their moves with a certain grace and sass, the sun rising just behind the grey mare truly made it seem, if not just for a second, that she was being graced by Mother Nature herself as the queen she so acted like she was.
