Description
The Celestial rifle. Known only as "the hit" amongst the greatest Cult of Anubis leaders. It was build by meteor pieces back in 7000 B.C. by the Cult of Anubis. And was later ruined in battle with the Children of Ra. Only fragments are left of this rifle. They laydeep within the vaults of the Cult of Anubis home land, known as Atlantis. The pieces contain information. Information about the origin of the Children of Ra. Of what happened 20.000 years ago in Egypt. Therefore it is an object that must be contained by the
Children of Ra.
Ok... drawn in 3 hours. Started as a doodle, but then evolved. Used as reference the gun designs of vlda: [link] . The story above... mwell... pure crap, but hey you never know. Perhaps I will include it since I pretty much need a reason for the Children of Ra to enter Atlantis (Which lies in the middle of the Atlantic ocean, buried under the ocean floor).

As I said... I love your weaponry. The design is just superb and the shading is tremendous. More of pieces like this and I will start to suffer from a permanent jawdrop.

Well... I have only watched the movie Stargate, so I do not know much of what is happening in the series.
However I have always liked Anicent egyptian mythology, as well as the story about Atlantis. And I am just taking it from there.

Very awsome Rifle, looks very powerfull seeing it had about 10 shots and the size of it, the only critisizum i would give this and i hate to critisize it is, the kinfe below would do to much exept danger the person shooting it, it would be quite hard to slice someone the way the gun is shaped and by its size,Unless! of coure their was a little switch and that part of the gun came off as a dagger

fantastic image, yes the story is a bit pooh, but it shows good imagenation. anyways anubis and other egyptian people and gods came from space, (not stargate rubbish) and the Atlantians where an independant group who where around after the egyptian dynesty. (this really is bollocks!!)

Hmm... Does this have anything to do with the Stargate series? I haven't seen all of it, just a few of the latest episodes, but a lot of what you said in the description reminds me of some of the stuff I've seen there.

Nope. It is all a part of my science fiction story happening in 2635. It might reflect the stargate series, but basically the Cult of Anubis is an anicent organisation that are in posession of immense echnology. They are fighting the Children of Ra, the good guys, that are in posession of telepathic and telekinetic powers. And we humans are in the middle of this war, unaware of its presence.

Interesting story... The gun looks really cool...by the way I wanted to ask you, when you draw portraits, what pencil number do you use for the skin? I mean I've tried so many...but I don't think I'm getting it right. So I wanted to ask you since you're so highly praised around here for your pencil work.

I always use a mechanical pencil with 0,5 HB lead pieces, for every drawing. Occationally I use 2HB. But mostly HB. For the skin I use a piece of copy paper rolled up, and use it to smudge the drawn place where it needs to be smudged. This way it looks like its perfectl covered with pencil. You just put it over the pencil the same way youshade. Hard for dark smudging, light for the lighter areas and careful smudging. Otherwise ofr larger portraits a piece of tissue paer work. Its best to practice some first before you do t on the more serious drawings.

^__^ Thanks so much, I think I shall practice before I create a masterpiece. So you're saying a piece of paper would help create that skin texture effect? Could a tissue paper work as well for small images, not larger portraits? 'Cause I have this friend and he's an unbelievable artist himself and his drawing look as if they were smudge by either using fingers or a tissue paper, and I wanted to ask you since you're such a talented pencil artist. Once again, I appreciate your help. Thanks a lot.

I use tissue papers for big images since I cant get the tissue paper to smudge only a small area, and the smudging gets rougher. Try it out with a piece of rolled up paper, by using its "corner" so you can smudge at a tiny space. And with a tissue paper rolled up almost the same way. There is a difference.
