I clearly like to draw Damian wrapped in his own bloodied cape.There are epic flames just out of the frame. Dick plans to defeat them with the power of ROPE.

Rope is an excellent fire-deterrent, don't you know.

And I didn't really make up a story for what happened, but even Damian can get hurt. See Streets of Gotham for proof of him getting his ass kicked. Even the best heroes have to rely on their teammates for backup once in awhile, even if they ARE Bruce Wayne's son.

I've seen it happen multiple times. but it's still rare. and I think dick would want some backup for something that could injure damian so badly that he'd be out of the fight for good.

If he thought he was completely outmatched and there was really nothing either of them could do? Dick would definitely choose to send the two of them to safety instead of risking them getting hurt trying to help him.
