The ultimate warrior vs. the ultimate hunter.
Honestly Link will win if it comes down to melee, as he literally has countless centuries of experience through his reincarnations. The Master Sword is a magical, unbreakable sword that can easily stand up to the Predator's wrist-blades. And since Link fights with a sword, the Predator will be honor-bound to fight him blade-to-blade instead of at a distance.

I think the Predator would be so, pardon the expression, "alien" that the elfin warrior would be overpowered. And Link's head & spinal column would be in his trophy case.

Hum... Interesting... But Link has magic, and most of his weapons can't be explained by science. The Predator, on the other hand, are a technological hunter that relies on his science. I dunno... Maybe would be a lucky fatal strike for both of them to win...

This would be hard to call. Predator is a mighty hunter for god reason, and he has stealth abilities and heat-sensing technology o his side.
Link, on the other hand is a warrior made- tempered through countless trials against creatures of different sorts and just as many evils. He'd have a lot of good battle experienc, so he'd have an idea of how this kind of foe would fight. Though he does have access to divine power (Triforce of Courage), he usually relies on his skills and grit to see him through.
I'd see this being a stalemate for a long while, and maybe a bit of mutual respect and acknowledging of skills between the two.

I think Link is a lot like Batman in the sense that he can take down anyone so long as he has the right equipment and enough prep time. Of course the same argument could probably be made for the Predator as well....

For the Batman part, I agree with you; they are much alike, except that Batman is much darker character (but Link is on his way of darkness as well; seeing the Shadow Temple in Ocarina Of Time and that crazy part in Twilight Princess, near the end of the game, that enters the Twilight Realm is pretty creepy).
I'd love to draw a comic of Link facing the Predator, but I lack time (and skills) to do that.

Well, I dont think Link could be a great thing, Unless someone make the conditions of the fight, of curz he could win, depending of the scenario and weapons (in this case, they fight outdoor, the best ring for Predator, cuz he is hunting his preys

Well, I kinda based this crossover on the "Batman VS Predator" series. Batman is "more" normal compared to Link, and he used strategy to defeated the Predator.
I think Link would use strategy to defeat the Predator also. Just see the games... When we use Link, we have to guide his strategy to beat the dungeons and enemies...

Thats true, but Im talking about Link and Predator, I dont know if Batman could beat Predator, or not, I didnt analise that yet. But of course, Batman could be have a chance, his is strong, taller, and he allways have a lot of Bat-Weapons-No matter what is...Batarangs, Teasers, Hooks, etc. What have Link? A sword and a shield, what could be useful against the technology of Predator, like his blasters, or Ciber swords. I dunno.

Hmmmm......this is definately a moment of "Triforce don't fail me now" moments on Link's behalf. Whenever I find cross overs like this [where the two characters are so different from one another] I end up applying a rather indepth logic to it all.
But when it all comes down to who would win, its the person with the home field advantage. Why? Because that typically means the other character's abilities, weapons, etc. are forced to obey and conform to the laws and physics of that dimension since they are a so called guest in it. Since Predator is in Hyrule, Link would have a much higher chance of winning I believe. I mean, he could pummel Predator's energy sheild/cloak with extremely powerful magic attacks until its drained of energy. And so long as Predator doesn't have time to get ahold of any healing or stamina/magic restoring items...Link could just wail away on him with weapon and magic alike to kill him.
Now if Link was on Predator's homeworld...he'd be just like any other mortal/humanoid the aliens picked up and dropped into their hunting preserve. His Triforce abilities and magic abilities would be gone. Sure he's still have his combat and sword play experience and abilities but he wouldn't have any instant healing iteams. And since Link is so use to simply taking a potion to heal all his wounds, he'd be shit out of luck in Predator's world. With the knowledge of magic I always pictured Link to be more reckless since he knows in the back of his mind he only needs a potion or a fairy. Its not like he has to worry about poison or infection or loosing his speed and strength because of an injury or anything like that. I think he'd do a good job at hiding and eluding Predator at first but once a fight was forced, unless he was able to witness what happens when one is injured to someone else to learn more about his new environment...I'd say he's screwed.
Now if you were take both of them with all their abilities and just drop them into no man's land where neither had the home field ability advantage....and it was strictly based off their natural abilities given to their species and any physcial combat training....I'd have to say Predator would win. After all he is a born killer, everything about his natural make up is to make him the ultimate killing machine after all. Link might have a higher endurance rate and pain threshold and maybe the ability to take a heavier beating than a human and his senses are sharper than a human's...but its not enough to best Predator. And since there is no home field stuff going on that means the Master Sword is just a regular old sword. It would more than likely be broken early on in battle since its made of iron. And iron against whatever enhanced metal Predator's blades are made out off....yeah iron sword breaks. Same goes for the sheild. And his chain mail.
Link might provide Predator with a fair enough fight but I think by the time Predator started to enjoy the thrill of the battle Link would be too worn out and he'd die quickly. Then Predator would be disappointed figuring he went from under estimating to over estimating Link's capabilities.
As much as I am a fan of Link's....I have to go with logic on this stand point.
Now if this was Oni Link verses Predator....thats another story. When you strip them to bare physical abilities...Oni is much stronger, faster, and durable compared to Link. I think Oni would win against Predator not only in homefield advantage but the no realm advantage [what I descrbed earlier] Now if he were on Predator's turf....I'd say he'd have a much higher chance of living but Predator would still have an edge over him. I believe at least Oni would deal some MAJOR damage before going down.

Man, never read a highly detailed explanation before about crossovers. And makes perfect sense. When I drew this, I didn't thought very much about the edges and weakness of the two combatants.
I just drew this because I saw that nobody ever thought to bring two characters that are so different; and that it would be awesome to see these matches...
