Tried to do a speedpaint. Ended up taking me about two hours. I was listening to Mario Party music... it was wildly inappropriate.

I love it! The details are lovely, and you can defintely tell what's happening just from looking at the picture. The colors and lighting are also great!

I'm glad to hear it! For a long time I've concentrated more on what I draw than how I color it and evoke a mood with the colors. So one of my big things this year is to think "colors first," and it will probably lead to more paintings like this one.

Very sweet and really pretty! I love how colorful they both are, the cooler color scheme that Bleck has versus Tippi's bright and glowing, rainbow one is a really nice contrast between them that I think really shows Tippi as a kind of guiding light for Bleck very well! I also really love the texture and details in the background and how they're also glowing, I think that looks really cool! >w<

I played 2 and 3 A LOT, and then a teeny bit of some of the others here and there. I would still play Mario Party any time, but it's hard finding a group of adults willing to throw down on the Mario Party board.

Yeah, I got the chance to play 1 & 2 recently because I joined a Retro Gaming Club, but otherwise I've pretty much been a lone gamer all of my life since no one who lives nearby plays Nintendo much x-x
And then when I realized that games like Mario Kart Wii had ONLINE stuff to do, they shut down the Wi-Fi ;-;

I was pretty much like that too, or I would have been, if not for my brother! Thankfully he's only 3 years younger than me and we grew up playing most things together. We didn't like to compete though... or at least he didn't! He was a real sore loser!

I did have a friend who'd come over once in a while. We did both competition and co-op depending on what we felt like doing. He didn't have the same game systems as me though, so in order to have certain Pokemon I had to buy a second DS to trade with myself x-x

Aww thanks! That means a lot to me because that's precisely what I'm trying to practice right now. I'm pretty happy with myself for all the textures and stuff I use, but I can struggle with color schemes and bringing it all together. So your encouragement is appreciated!
