Cough, crome filter wah' !? Not in mah house. teehee. I really like this, and I usally frown on filter use with Adobe Photoshop v6.0....but....I think you actually pulled this off in a new direction, a good direction. I love how the crome seems to flow out of her eyes, and down her face. You are getting good with blending, and airbrush is always a phun' thing, start producing more !! more I command you !

the eyes are absolutely beautiful...I also love her lips. and those elf ears, heh they're cool too.

This is awesome. The colour, composition, lighting and form of her face are all outstanding.
I really like that warped sort of texture that is across the face, but I would probably avoid it on the right side of her left eye (from our orientation) as it looks like clumped up mascara or something there.
It is has less depth, and looks better on the rest of the head though.
I like the fading opacity of the head as well.

this is really well done, i'm just getting started rendering and i'm using ray dream until i get a copy of maya. considering what small amount i can do now i'm awe struck when i see something like this.... excellent job, i hope i can eventually do stuff like this

one of the drawbacks in illustration work is that if you attempt to approach realism in your work but don't hit it right on the money, the abstraction fans go "whoops, not abstract enough" and the realism fans go "whoops, not realistic enough..."
I want to praise the successes in this work because I think it stands on its own as a masterful piece of 3D illusion. The eyes are incredible! You've nailed a haunting, almost psychic "I know what you're thinking" expression in them, like she is reading the viewer's mind. The textures around the face LOOK cold and frosty but not at all dead; I couldve told she was an ice entity just by viewing the image and not the title... it's just THAT good! Also, you've taken a turquoise palette, something that's usually reserved for crystals and spaceships, and put it on a living creature without it looking contrived or laying it on too thick.

That is a Badass render man, definetely my fave from you. It shows real skill, especially if u modelled that from scratch.
The texturing is amazing, but i think the eyebrow's need a bit of work, although i understand how hard it is to get realistic looking hair. Great work man, keep it up

This is one of the most awesome renders I've seen in a while. The details are very nice and since I don't know anything about 3D I won't comment on the technique.
I agree with voodoostyle though, the surface looks like plastic, which kinda kills the beauty of the face. But otherwise it's a nice piece of work!

since this is one of the first faces u do 100% by you, Iยดd say it came out pretty good.. since you use maya crap I cant complaning about the rendering of fur that looks like plastic and not hair and since I am an ass and wont help you setting up pixar renderman Iยดd say like I always get softimage xsi
the face is well builded and for a first time attemp pretty harmonic geometries, a hint for makin it look even more realistic, is using a bumpmap at the face to simulate a kind of skin like material
the background fits good with the face itselfs just I am missing something at the black part.
the unreadable text is crap... u r not a trendwhore and I dont know what the hell a text like that does in a kick as face like that... trow that away.. we are elite modelers, we dont have to trash our renderes with some unreadable text to hide some bullshit like most of the people do cause they know they rendering isnt worth to look at without unreadable text.
