at the finale of Loki Season 2, we see that Loki, after learning to control his time slipping powers, he's gotten a new costume, and he's gotten what he always wanted. a throne. he's become the King of Multiverse. he's become... the Loki who remains.

and he forged the Multiverse into a tree state.

so now he watches the entire Multiverse. if Thor found out he's alive, I bet he and the others are going to say that the Multiverse is dirty with Loki in charge.
