My first tutorial. Phew it took longer than i thought it would. I chose an eye tutorial to get the feel of how to make them. I hope this is useful to you all.~This was done on paint.net. If you have any questions, just ask and i'll try my best to answer them. ^_^

its a very good tutorial. The only thing i would suggest is since it is a tutorial is that you edit out the watching shows next to it. It was a bit distracting for those who want to focus on learning. If it's just a speedpaint then its fine to leave it in. Other than that, it was very well done. Β Great job! I like you oc.~

Thank you SOOOOO much for making this tutorial. I had had tons of problems making eyes, and findin other tutorials and following them, the result was never any good. Following this tutorial ((and I just got paint.net yesterday)) I made the drawing from last night-today ((obviously sleeping I'D)) and it looks great. I haven't gotten a chance to post it yet, but once I get a chance, I'll link it back to you.

You change the layer type to multiply. ^_^

On the window that is called layers,click the properties (pencil and paper icon) and then change the mode to multiply.

This is pretty good. But I have a few questions...
1) What size brush do you use for the lineart?
2) You say to color the upper eye with a grey color. However, it looks dark green. Is it just set at a different opacity? If so what level is it?
3) What does color bum/dodge mean?

1~ I use 3-5 size brush
2~ it's set to a multiply layer.
3~Color dodge is brightening the picture.
Color Burn is when it gets darker

well, there is the cheaper type of photoshop like i have, its photoshop elements, i think they are like 50-60 or less, mine came with my tablet, so i dont know the exact price
the CS versions seem WAAAY over priced (it seems like they only have a few more features)

try looking for photoshop elements 8, ide imagine the most expensive it would be is $80
