Ah thanks! My older cousin was totally obsessed with TMNT, which is how I kinda got interested. I was a bit young for the 80s cartoon (caught the tail end of it when I was very wee), but I really liked the 2003 series, which got me back into it again. Mikey's my favourite too!

I /loved/ the 80s one b/c I grew up with it. XD (I feel so old saying that...) But yay Turtles!

Ahhh thanks! I was just trying to remember the very little bit about martial arts for different weapons that I know for the poses. I've done a bit of training with the Bo and Bokken (wooden sword XD ), but I know like nothing about Sais or Nunchuks so I totally made that shit up.  

The monochrome was mostly because I was originally just gonna upload this as a super sketchy sketch...then I was like "well I might just do a bit of shading on the shells...and maybe on the weapons...and might as well play around with some brushes in the background...and I guess add a touch of colour to the masks." XD

Ah thanks! Mikey has always been my favourite, although I have to say I do really like Leo in the new show...they lightened him up a lot, and he's obsessed with this super hilarious Star Trek-ish show. I can relate. XD
