Description
Concept illustration for a fanfic ~aislianu is writing, wherein Sora and Riku vanish and it's Kairi's turn to go out and Save the Universe. The concept tickles my fancy, so of course it gets art.Donald and Goofy are scouting the area on an unfamiliar new world, while Kairi talks strategy with NaminΓ© and Roxas. (Roxas is there for reasons relating to Sora's disappearance in the fic.)
Kairi's new outfit is my design. I wish I'd realized how much of a pain it would be to shade.

That certainly sounds like an interesting concept. Love the new clothing design. Any news on where I'd be able to find this story, since the link to the teaser is dead. Might be interested in taking a look for myself.

As I commented previously (Public Service Announcement), Kairi isn't my favorite character, but all the same I wrote (or rather, am in the process of writing) a fic like this. Sora and Riku go off, she's sick of waiting around for them, and goes off on an adventure! ^^ And I made new clothes for her too. I should upload that sometime. I like your design, it's more practical then mine. *shakes head*

I had an idea similar to this, but it was Goofy who had to weild a Keyblade and fight the Stellar Order.

Kairi should be pitted against more female villans, as Sora had more male. For some reason, Ma Beagle of the Beagle Boys came to mind as a good feminine equivalent of Pete. We need a visit to DuckBurg anyway.

Kairi's shoes are just awesome. I have fallen in love with them. -needs a life-
But I really do love this. The expressions are lovely and Kairi looks grown up... more mature than in KHII (though she'd matured and gained depth exponentially from KHI).
I'm off to read the chapter... the concept is just too awesome (:

This is like a renacentist painting in which always there were a lot of persons and everone of them were making different things, telling us a visual story
This time if more manga like that renacentist XD, you cann see that every character is interacting in some ways with other characters or the place.
That adds some life to this. I usually don't like fanart (even I don't like KH) but at least you have put some effort in this one to create a story. I'm sure your friend will be proud of this one
