Oh look, more Discord x Celestia art. I knew I've been improving a lot lately, and the previous others are just shameful. So here's an update. Those two are like yin and yang. They're perfect together and complete each other. If they ruled Equestria together, everything would be balanced. Chaos and order together.(We all know this will eventually be the most popular thing I've ever posted *eyeroll* Common interests...)

I’ve gotten... A LOT of hate and spam from Fluttercords in the past for just making Dislestia art. It’s hard to trust any of them anymore. Sorry for adding that, but it’s worked to keep them from hating so far, so I’m hesitant on removing it.

That is true, tho the more i think about it i don't think either of the ships will ever become canon, if they made Fluttercord canon it would make the Dislestians mad, if they made Dislestia canon the Fluttercords would be mad.
Tho, the only thing i see wrong with fluttercord is discords previous (and sometimes current) behavior to fluttershy, corrupting her mind, sending her on fake friendship missions etc, tho i might be biased since i am a fluttercord shipper myself .

A lot of the writers have also voiced their support for the ship. Links for those are also under the description for the Fluttercord stamp. Nicole Oliver even said she wanted to see an episode where they go on a bowling date.
Celestia and Discord have actually been the biggest Dsicord ship since season 2 when he first appeared. Fluttercord just came in and kinda intruded on it. People who have been in the fandom the longest still ship Dislestia because it’s not friendzoned and we like the balance between chaos and order. He’s teased her a lot between taking her tail, calling her “cae cae” (which people have been saying means “celestial beauty” or something), and petting her tail in that same episode. It’s just odd how often he brings her up in other episodes out of all characters. She also got REALLY excited when he ruined the gala. So excited that she howled. Just as a small detail, there was also a picture in the background of them together in an episode. Celestia needs someone to break her free from her orderly and strict lifestyle because it’s been shown often she’s way more fun than people think. They also have a great dynamic. They’re both immortal gods that are thousands of years old at least, and they’re both matured in the way that they could solve any problems they had together. Also, if they ruled together, Equestria would be balanced.

And there’s a song called Chaos Theory that’s an opera between them sung by two voice actors in the fandom. I don’t like it as much because it’s opera but it’s Dislestia fuel nonetheless.

I would say the main reason i ship fluttercord but i wouldn't want to accidentally get you mad at me or something.

Tho, if more hints to Dislestia show up in the show and i notice them i'm sure i'll change my mind and start shipping dislestia, i'll admit it, would be cute to see discord and celestia having tea parties like him and fluttershy do or to see celestia and discord dancing or something.

Yea, its not very likely either of them would be canon, even if they wanted to it would be hard because fluttershy and discord have an age gap and stuff, and tho theres nothing in the show discarding dislestia, i've heard the comics are canon and i'm pretty sure in one of the comics celestia is in love with an alternate universe (good) sombra, unless that comic is fake and/or it doesn't exist and it was something i saw in a dream they'd have to basically discard that entire comic.
tho i might be wrong since i don't really know much about the comics and if they're even canon or not since i don't really read them, plus i'm sure the show writers and higher ranks would be able to do whatever the heck they want to the comics.

Eh, don't ship it, but I can sort of see why you do. Fluttercord is alright, I definitely prefer them as just friends. To be honest, I don't ship Discord with anyone at all. But the picture certainly has an interesting concept!

And yeah, I got that already. I did this because I've had Fluttercords comment hate on my art before. EVERY time. I feel I deserve this. And so far it worked because none of them said anything.
Fluttercord is beyond wrong, really, so it bothers me especially that those shippers claim their ship is canon and any other Discord shippers should give up and cry. I personally feel my reasoning is fair.
It doesn't even matter what my Discord ship is in the end. If I shipped something like Lunacord, I'd hate Fluttercord almost as much. The reason I hate the shippers so much as a Dislestian is because of how they target us even though our ship is the first one Discord had since his first appearance. The immaturity of their group is completely ridiculous, and they brag about being superior when they don't even have the fanart or content to back themselves up. It's like a short kid bullying a tall, fat kid.
In short, you will not see Dislestians hating on their art. But you will see them on our art anywhere you go. Crazy what hypocrites can do.

Ah, I see. I've personally haven't seen salty FlutterCord shippers, but they do go about shouting "FLUTTRECORD FOR THE WIN111!!!!", stuff like that. It's pretty annoying, so I don't blame ya. Yeah, I know that. But Discord is a god? And Fluttershy is an adult mortal? By that logic you're saying Discord can only be paired with Scorpan, Tirek, Sombra, or anyone one else as old as Discord. But Fluttercord isn't wrong? It isn't wrong to put an immortal being with an adult mortal. Yeah, Discord will probably outlive Fluttershy, but it isn't wrong. I already stressed to you how their relationship is really toxic and possessive if it did exist. Nothing is even good about Fluttercord, so there’s no point in forcing it down people’s throats.

Discord in the human world (not EQG) would be the equivalent of a god with a mortal form. He might look old, but knowing Discord he'd probably choose a younger looking form. Fluttershy and Discord's relationship isn't downright toxic, but Discord has his possessive moments. However, Discord is maturing, and has found friends outside of Fluttershy. He's slowly growing and becoming less possessive. Besides, next-gen AU's deviate drastically from canon, some people completely ignoring segments of canon in favour of their own ideas. A lot of people who make next gens or pony art in general don't really watch the show anymore, they make their own headcanons and such. A lot of fanon material is much more expansive and in-depth than in-show material anyway. And I'm not forcing this down your throat, I've stressed numerous times that I don't ship Discord with anyone, so there's no point in policing other people's ships. If anyone is shoving stuff down people's throats, I'd say it's you.

No, he's maturing as a character? As I said, he's growing and learning as a character, and moving away from his possessive tendencies. Possessive = toxic = abusive isn't always correct. Some people are naturally "clingy", for lack of a better word. Discord is shown to be protective of her, and a lot less possessive. Fluttershy's his first true friend, there's no doubt he'd do anything to keep his relationship with her. Discord has possessive moments, but they get less and less frequent. And since when in the show is the friendship toxic or abusive?? If the friendship really was toxic, Fluttershy would realize that a lot sooner, and walk out on him. Discord naturally likes to toy with people, especially Twilight. I'd say their relationship is the toxic, unhealthy one.

That’s not true at all. He hasn’t “changed”. He even did all this shopping stuff and almost died because Fluttershy turned him into someone he isn’t. He’s literally trapped between chaotic evil an innocent nothingness. She isn’t healthy for him at all.

He has changed. If you watched the show, you'd know that. Fluttershy and Discord's relationship isn't unhealthy at all. He's starting to make new friends, and isn't so immature anymore. I hope it becomes canon. In my headcanon, Celestia and Discord were in a relationship, but it was hated because Discord wasn't a "Pony", and this led Discord to taking over Equstria.
In "Keep Calm in Flutter on", Celestia wanted to put the past behind her and wanted to give Discord a second chance. She had Fluttershy "reform" Discord because Celestia had other things to do. But over time, Discord and Celestia did have time to themselves. The flowers was not just an apology for the Tirek mess, it was an apology for everything.

I don't "hate" it. I just cringe at it a little. When I read "Bride of Discord", I found the ship to be interesting, until Fluttershy got out of character. A lot of Fluttercord fics gets everyone out of character. Fluttershy is a caretaker, which is why I keep her single. She would make a better mother than someone's girlfriend.
