Superior Human Physiology; Type 2 Supernatural Senses & Condition; High-Speed Flight; Aerial & Vacuum Adaptation; Decelerated Aging; Energy Manipulation & Empowerment; Personal Energy; Optic Blasts; Enhanced Breath; Cape Proficiency; Regenerative Healing Factor; Contaminant Immunity and finally Solar Flare. However, Power Strike has a weakness to the following: Has a limit to how much energy he can absorb and his body will rupture with planet-destroying explosive force if he absorbs beyond his limit; Becomes physically weaker whenever he uses any form of energy attacks and has to recharge from an outside source after each use; And is weakened when he is doused in some forms of Nuclear Reactor Coolant as it disperses the energy built up in his body.

(---"In the wide expanse of Totality, in The Superior 's massive library of universes, there exists a version of our Solar System that has one major difference from our own. In the Earth's Orbit and on the opposite side of The Sun, there exists a Counter-Earth , but there are a few major differences between the regular Earth and this Counter-Earth.

One: This Earth, named Kern by it's inhabitants, is bigger then the regular Earth and thus has more continents and landmasses then the ones on the regular Earth.

Two: Kern has both highly advanced technology and supernatural powers at it's disposal.

Three: There is more then one sapient species living on this Earth such as humans, different alien races, different fantasy races, sapient automatons & creatures, demons, angels and so on.

Four: There is a sizeable population of superpowered humans & other sapient species living on it. Similarly to the superhumans & other creatures found within the pages of comic books .

Five: There are a lot of strange creatures and monsters that live on this planet that are very different from the animals on Earth.

And Six: It is a massive hub world for the various alien & fantastical species from all across the universe and even some neighboring dimensions to come to.

Now the existence of Kern is known to the people of Earth and vice versa, however Earth didn't have the current technological level necessary to make the trip around the sun to the other side viable. While the tech on Kern is capable of making such a trip easily, the planet is forbidden from granting some of that tech to Earth to help it along since a lot of Kern's races don't see Earth as a planet ready for what Kern can provide and that the Earth people need to figure out space travel themselves.

Anyway, one of the premiere defenders of Kern is the world-wide team known as The Safeguards of Liberty. A team of some of Kern's most skilled and powerful superhumans and other such beings. They are the ones who keep the peace on Kern and protect it's civilians from the various supervillains and other threats they can encounter.

And one of these defenders is known as Power Strike.

Power Strike is known as Mark Masters in his civilian identity. The son of the superheroes known as The Crusader and Lady Fairplay . Two of The Safeguard's most powerful heroes.

The Crusader was known as Archie Masters. Archie was a timid, cautious astronomy professor who taught at Grand University somewhere in the eastern United States. A colleague created a device called an atom smasher, but the initial test went awry when Masters, preoccupied in his thoughts went into the room where the device was being used. He was bathed in atomic radiation but instead of killing him, the accident endowed him with various superhuman abilities such as strength, flight and invulnerability. With his confidence boosted, he used these powers to fight crime as The Crusader.

While Lady Fairplay was known as Mary Lee. Mary was a school teacher who underwent an experiment by one Professor Amazo that granted her her powers. Afterwards, she decides to battle the criminal underworld as Lady Fairplay, "The Goddess of Chastisement." Lady Fairplay possessed "unlimited energetic powers" which include strength, speed, and recovery.

So when both Archie and Mary tied the knot and had a son together, Mark ended up attaining a mix of both his parent's power sets. Having great physical strength, durability, speed & flight while also having very powerful energy powers to go with them. And with this great amount of power, Mark's parents had to instill in him a sense of responsibility and moral fortitude so that he doesn't end up abusing his great gifts for selfish reasons. Though that hasn't stopped Mark from having a bit of fun with them and show them off once in a while.

However, there have been several disturbances throughout the planet. Nothing too severe but a little alarming as there have been several anomalies appearing in different spots. Mostly small rippling distortions in the air, but on occasion random rainbow-colored portals began opening up and tried to snatch several people from their universe before immediately closing up.

One of these portals was actually stable as it stayed open for much longer for The Safeguards to isolate it and Kern's best scientists began studying it. After sending a few probes inside, they discovered that the portal actually leads to a reality they never encountered before.

A massive sea of various pieces of junk that stretched as far as their cameras could see underneath a rainbow-colored sky that looked like multiple nebulas mixed together.

The Super-Sargasso Sea.

Though for the time being, travel through the vortex was forbidden since they have no clue what to expect as the probes that were sent out seemed to have shorted out after a minute of travelling in The Sea. However, one of the probes was able to spot an actual landmass in the distance. Meaning that there is an actual continent in the middle of the sea of junk. Meaning that there is a possibility that actual life could be living there.

So The Safeguards will have to make the proper preparations before they could send a team inside and scope out the landmass. And Power Strike wanted to be part of the team being sent in since he does want to see this new reality with his own eyes."---)

Ya know, I've been thinking about having a Counter-Earth of my own for a while, but I do know that in real life, such a concept is practically impossible due to how our laws of physics function... BUT then I remember that Superhero Comics don't really follow our laws of physics very often anyway, so WHY NOT make a Counter-Earth of my own.
Besides, The Superior can make any universe however he wants anyway.

Also, the planet Kern is actually my own tribute to the different Crossover-verses done by my friends here on DA. The main one being WOLFBLADE111
and his Guardian-Verse. And like the Guardian-Verse and other Crossover-verses, Kern & it's universe are a mix of various IPs and settings from various companies, creators and mythologies. In fact, the OS versions of Adrian , Babylona , Battle Eagle & Lion-Guard along with The Gaga Girls come from this universe. Well, the previous version of Kern anyway as that version was destroyed due to a Destroyer God going absolutely berserk from a dark influence and tore apart that universe entirely until The Superior and one other Creator God stepped in and dealt with the god himself before they rebuilt that universe from the ground up.

Though the biggest difference being that EVERYTHING on Kern & the rest of it's universe comes from the Public Domain and/or are pastiches & satires of other, more mainstream IPs & characters. And some of them are Kern's versions of the different characters, concepts and locations found within The Super-Sargasso Sea currently.

So yeah, everything in Project Gutenberg , Wikisource , Comic Book Plus , Digital Comics Museum , various World Mythologies and other PD properties could be considered canon in The Kern-Verse.

How so since so many of them can contradict each other very fiercely... Well... A lot of PD materials don't exactly have a proper continuity to speak of (especially in Golden Age Comics), so we are free to piece them together however we want.

Though overall, Kern is to Wolf's Nexus-Earth as DC's Planet Angor is to The Marvel Universe. And in-story, The Superior was friends with other Creator Gods like The G-Verse's The Above & The Vice-Verse's The Forgotten One and wanted to make a tribute to The G-Verse and other Crossover-verses that may or may not have been affected by Sargassian Expulsions .
