Keyframe concept for my ongoing story about Dimitri, a fox child who turns into a boy. In this keyframe I wanted to depict a good design for how the story feels ... and not worry about rendering/detail. I feel most illustrations in books and animation feel this way. I am having a lot of fun with this story.Related content

This is very cute, I love how you drew the little fox, it's totally adorable. The composition is nice and I like the soft coloring, it's almost naive in the "fitting for children book" sense of the word, like with the hand-painted gradient of the sky, it creates a nice feeling.
The storyline sounds interesting and I'd love to know more about it, this pic is really teasing^^

I'm deadly serious, if you ever publish any of your works, I really want to buy them - or if they're printed in a magazine or something, I wish to get ahold of one and clip it out so that I may marvel at its beauty!
I remember in 2005 when you were starting out/exploring with arting, and now you're such a professional and exemplary goddess!

I hadn't gotten around to replying yet - as I was just busy IRL - but in the Art forum (which I've sorely neglected lately) with your post about your work being compared to a Fenrir animation - I think that's absolutely true. Should I ever see your art animated, that is exactly what I would expect to see.

This looks great! I love the shadow idea it tells so much about him without explanation. It's also made me very curious (which is always good in a story) Who's the person? Is he hiding? Or revealing himself? Could he be leading him into the forest?

The fox is really a character I designed a long time ago, and he has just continued to evolve as I start to develop his story and also as I learn about design.
