Teacher: "Okay now we have Ivan and Hershel, what is that you boys made for your project?"
Hershel: "...It's a car."
Ivan: "Specifically a Peako Model X WAKOS BMW 325i. Even with all the decorations Hershel added to it, the wheels can still roll perfectly. It's kinda interesting actually."

It is weird to see Hershel with fully black hair again. But this is a flashback on Earth so it makes sense. This bad boy takes a metal shop class, though like his other class he skips quite a bit. He does show up for partner projects at least. He's not that much of a jerk, he thinks Ivan is a chill dude. Hershel may not pay attention in class and has a very basic understanding of cars but he can at least decorate the car to stand out.
