Tadaaa! Not to show off ANOTHER reference but here is 1/3rd of my Steven Universe OCs. That's right, 1/3rd! There are two more OCs relating to Howlite's story who will be introduced. They will be mentioned later in this same description. Howlite's story technically goes beyond Steven Universe Future, technically.

Full Name: Howlite

Age: 8,000+

Species: Gem

Bio: Howlite are gems typically used for assassination. If any gem speaks out against any Diamond, Howlites can be sent to poof or in worse cases, shatter gems. All Howlites are supposed to lack emotions due to the nature of their jobs on Homeworld. However our Howlite is actually defective and does feel emotions, she keeps this a secret so she would not be discarded. She will swiftly poof them in order to bubble them and hide them within her gem (located on the back of her neck) to take out a bubble that contains gem shards she would find while out on scouts. Despite being made to be a killer, Howlite does not like killing anything. White Diamond had specifically sent Howlite to take out Rose Quartz after she "shattered" Pink Diamond. When trying to get to Rose Quartz, she was targeted by Pearl. However, she did not harm Pearl, only caring to throw her around the room with her chain attached to her scythes. When Rose noticed this, she called Pearl back and had a 1v1 fight against Howlite. Howlite lost of course but Rose offered her a place among the Crystal Gems, as she noticed the empathy she showed when fighting her opponents and saw how different she was from other Howlites. Along with the fact that she would most likely be shattered if she couldn't kill Rose, Howlite joined the Crystal Gems' rebellion against the Diamonds. Rose considered Howlite a wonderful asset, as she was able to swiftly take out Gems but never shattering them. While she fought on the front lines, she was also asked to go off planet for various recon missions. On one of these missions, Howlite was on the moon and saw the Diamonds' attack on Earth. Not knowing if her Crystal Gem friends were alive and thinking she was the only one left, she decided to stay on the moon to see if she could spy on Homeworld from there. Many years later while on the moon, she saw the hand of the Diamonds ship come down onto Earth and exploding, this told her that the Crystal Gems were still on Earth somewhere. She would first be seen diving down towards Earth in order to locate her friends. Upon landing on Earth, Howlite found herself in the desert. She overshot her trajectory and thus didn't know where she should go to look for the Crystal Gems. While walking through the desert, a car driven by a man named Cody drove up to her, asking if she was okay due to the fact that she is walking in the sun and heat of the desert. Cody had assumed she was a very, very pale human and wanted to help. She asked if she was heading north, only to be told that she was heading south and so to recover her lost miles, Cody offered to drive her in the direction she needed to go. She vaguely remembers the area of where she needed to go. Not sure on where to go, Cody decided to enjoy this road trip, eventually getting Howlite to do so as well. They bonded during this trip and Howlite decided to go back onto the moon to check if she missed anything about the location, only to see that the moon base had been destroyed. Upon coming back, she decided to go back on the road trip with Cody, eventually finding Beach City, where the Crystal Gems have been residing. During this road trip, Howlite fell in love with Cody, seeing his nerdy but determined nature as endearing. When Howlite reunites with the Crystal Gems, she gets to meet Steve, Rose Quartz's son. She vows to protect Steven, who says that that isn't really necessary, but she is still protective of him. Cody rents a house in Beach City so he can stick nearby the adventures and Howlite decides to live with him. As they had bonded at that point. Howlite then participates in the events past Jailbreak, bonding with Steven and helping the Crystal Gems save other gems to fight back against the Diamonds. She is also in Steven Universe Future, helping Steven when she can. Especially relating to him with the fact that he doesn't WANT to hurt others, helping comfort him when he becomes his monster form. Her story continues beyond Steven Universe future, technically.

Powers/Abilities: Howlite has standard Gem abilities. Howlite's weapon is a "kusarigama", otherwise known as a "Chain Scythe". Which is two small scythes attached to a chain. She is able to extend the chain as far as she wants. Her own skills are acrobatics along with the ability to wield a chain scythe. Slight of hand skills and is very fast. Howlite also has the ability to fuse with Steven, Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl.
