Anne: "So uh, what's with the knife, Hershel? You've been attached to that thing ever since you've got here."
Hershel: "Oh uh, this was a gift from my mom. It's nice right? The gold isn't real but the color is just so cool."
Anne: "Aw really? That sounds sweet, in a way."

Hershel and Anne share a chat in the Plantar home, just wanting to get to know each other a little better. Hershel's knife is quite the attention grabber. He's always had it on him, mostly just to carve things with. No one really wanted to mess with him anyway. In Amphibia, it's his main weapon and he looks tough with it.

(Even though the show is over, I'll still continue Hershel's story until the end! We'll get there! That finale had me so emotional.)
