#3/100 LightHey, I finally got around to finish another picture for the 100 Theme Β Challenge.
As it says in the title, the theme this time was "Light". I had a number of ideas, but ended up with this one. It just was something I thought was a little more creative than just a goddess of light or something in that direction.Β
A glowing fairy, that was caught by humans and now used as a light source. (I'm such a positive person!)
It was another attempt to practice painting.
Anyways, enjoy ^^
Constructive critique is always appreciated.
Done in Paint Tool SAI + some editing in PS CS6

So far this is my favorite out of the themes. And the girl reminds me of a tiny human Fluttershy but blonde and not pink hair.

I think that her hand should be more bent backward, because she's touching sphere from the inside.

I suppose you could brighten the parts of her fingers closer to her palm so they look closer to the observer to get the sphere effect.

I actually tried, but since everything there is so bright, it doesn't really show.

Maybe darkening the ends of the fingers perhaps?
