I am from and I am going to give my honest critique of this. So here I got.
Simple and basic. The pose is nice. It shows her character. Colors are nice. I don't have too much problems with that. Well done I would say. Now let's get to the criticisms I have.
Do you not know physics? I don't think her skirt or hair would be floating or flying like that unless a gust of wind blew at her direction or if she was exerting much force from running. Clearly though, I do not see any of that happening because the rain droplets are static and her clothes and face aren't crumpled enough to suggest a strong wind. So the movement of the hair and the skirt feels unrealistic and puts me off because as much as I want to be in her world, it feels weird looking at this.Β
Some of her hair is out of that umbrella so wouldn't the rain hit it? I know she's under a tree, but some of the rain drawn on top of the tree makes it feel like the rain can go through the tree easily.
The shading feels a bit flat. There are some of it in there, but it doesn't feel dynamic enough because you used only the basics of shading since there are spots where the shadow is the darkest, yet you just put in the similar shade to rest of the shading where the sun doesn't shine in.Β
Grass is flat to be honest. I know background isn't important compared to the frontal figure, but it would be helpful if you added some more definitions to the grass that are closer to her and near our frontal view.

I agree with you on all points. the phsysics make no sense and the shading is quite random. Also, the anatomy is totally off.Β
And of course I didn' put much effort or thought into the background, and as you said, it's very flat and also quite boring.Β
This drawing is already over 2 years old, so I do hope I could do better at this point.Β
