Nice! When I started to improve on my water illustrations I referenced a lot of photos of wet seals and fish out of water. With slick body coverage comes additional reflections of light - I still struggle with it. I love to see other people practicing their skills too ^^

I am! I'm working on Ti'Kara right now, and she's much more involved, of course! It's still lots of fun, but I'm thinking of taking a break and finishing up the elemental horse series. Just got Air to go, and then I'm gonna go back and do Fire again (as an actual fire horse, this time.) Thanks for putting up such beautiful, easy lineart!

Yay!! *claps* She can be, she also has a lot of open space on her body drawn if you want to do designs and such. You're welcome! I figure if I leave the space on their bodies open people will come up with their own designs or patterns. ^^ Hopefully I'll get to improving the anatomy quality of them soon.

She's really stretching my skills! If you do improve the anatomy quality, it'd be nice to leave the originals too (or something), 'cause part of what made them perfect for me was that they didn't have a whole bunch of tiny details to make learning shading hard, but they still look good.

You can do it! I see. I'll definitely leave the originals that way people have two versions. I don't think I"ll touch up the shark ones though - I kinda like the simplicity and open format for those.

There are so many good options! I don't know if I have an absolute favorite, but I love dolphins because they're so graceful. Otters and seals are adorable, so maybe those too? But I think dolphins are more like it.
