WatercolourThis picture is a commission for my harp teacher. The original is going to be a thanks cart to the leader of our music school. We finally got a new big harp to our music school! (I tried make the harp in the picture look the same we got.)
I really like this picture. I hope the one who is meant to receive it likes it too.

Noin tunti piirrokseen ja noin 5 tuntia maalaamiseen. (MikΓ€li oikein muistan)
Harpun asento oli aika hankala, joten sen piirtΓ€miseen kului aika kauan. Maalaamiseen kului noin paljon aikaa sen takia, ettΓ€ maalasin kuvan vaiheissa ja annoin kuvan kuivua jokaisen vaiheen vΓ€lissΓ€. Taustasta kohti etualaa ja yksityiskohtia. Hiiren ja harpun kielet maalasin viimeisenΓ€. Maalaamisessa eniten aikaa meni Valkoisten osien maalaamiseen - jouduin maalaamaan sen monta kertaa uudelleen ennenkuin olin siihen tyytyvΓ€inen.

It was a commission, so I had to pay extra attention to it. The white parts of the harp were actually the hardest - white looks easily dirty. I spend almost 5 hours painting it.

I didn't use pencils in this picture. I dtawed the picture using 0,5 pencil and coloured it whit watercolours. It might look as pencil lines, becouse make details whit dry paint and really really small brush. (size 00)

The mouse's tail has exactly the right curvature. Excellent match with the harp in shape, color and texture. And the mouse looks happy.
