Description
This is the advanced tutorial, which picks up where the basic tutorial left off.Basic Manga Colouring Tutorial can be found here: [link]
So this tutorial covers several things. Which brushes I use, which colour mode my colour palette is set to, the importance of LIGHT DIRECTION, how to apply textures and basically reveals what a messy painter I am. XD Hopefully some people should be it interesting, though it's very hard to cover all the details so I hope I haven't missed anything deathly important out.
I would like to stress that this tutorial simply explains how I do things. This is just my personal style, and it's not the best style, nor the most complicated and it's not even remotely perfect. I really do encourage people to take some things away from this tutorial and experiment, because everyone has their own unique preferences and I'd like to see people discovering their own style that they're most comfortable with.
I hope some people find this useful in some way.
PS. It's a big file! O_O
PSS. This is also done on a different computer from the first tutorial, so don't mind the change in screen size. XD

Gee, dimezanime, you're an ass. No one wants to imitate anyone's style for a fact. But tutorials generally are known to be for learning purposes, and everyone starts from something - no one would DEVELOP their own style if they wouldn't start with a tutorial. Now go and discuss or think about something that's actually important. I mean, honestly, I have a life, I don't spend in on such pseudo-philosophical quasi-discussions. -_-
'neway, great tutorial, I'm just getting into colouring so this should teach me basics.

Thank you. It really helps, though i can't get the shading right, it so hard to shade the way you do it, can't seem to mix the colours right:/ Allthough it's very user friendly, I(because I am clueless) would have liked the shading af bit more step-by-step, maybe with just one area(the eye and above area maybe), to see how you blend the colours. Mine always look dull, maybe it's my brush(but wait, i used the brush in the tutorial). But very great tutorial

Oh wow. O.O
I just spent like 45 minutes reading both of these and studying them and I have to say... Wow.
Thank you so very much for taking time out of your day to go in and explain everything so clearly the first time around. You covered every basic and not so basic rule of tools, layers, and structure that make up the fundamentals of the art I want to do.
I have to say that this has been very educational and very fun. I can't wait to start putting this to practical application. I am super impressed! Thanks so much for making this, again ^___^!!!!
Just, WOW! ^^*eager to practice now*

This helped me so much in getting how Photoshop works thats a superb tutorial, especially the screenshots with comments were very helpful.
About that copying part... people are copying the whole life and somehow a tutorial means that the student have to do something the way the teacher does, am I right?
