This is a custom mechanic made for Yugioh TCG/OCG.
It represent BGMs.

[Original Rulesets]
Sound Stage is a new kind of card that's activated outside the field and acts as BGM.
It affects both players and has a property called "Contract Turns", displayed as note stars on the card.
Generally, the Contract Turns are same as the length of the song in minutes, rounded down.

When activated, it cannot be destroyed or replaced in any way other than its own ruling.
During the nth End Phase (n being the number of Contract Turns), send the card to the graveyard, this is a ruling and cannot be negated.

[Altered Rulesets for YGOPRO Coding]
Sound Stage is treated as Field Spell cards and is activated in your Field Spell Zone, however you cannot Set it.
It affects both players and has a property called "Contract Turns", displayed as note stars on the card.
Generally, the Contract Turns are same as the length of the song.

Card effects that would affect a Field Card cannot affect a Sound Stage Card.
