Part A Sit out of motion

I started forward, Arcano immediately falling into place at my side, keeping a steady place until I gave him a clear command, "Sit." He faltered for a second, glancing quickly up at me but coming to a stop and resting back on his haunches. I didn't return his unwavering stare that burned into my back. I walked a little farther further, then turned on my heel and stared at him. He was sitting calmly but alertly, his focus on me. When the judge waved me on, I returned to Arcano and praised him.

Part B Encounter With a Bike Rider

I clipped a leash onto Arcano's collar and we started along the sidewalk, walking along at a brisk pace. After about 20 paces, the designated bike rider breezed past and rang the bell, coming a little close to Arcano. He showed little interest in the rider, keeping his pace alongside me. When the bike rider made his way back to us, Arcano lifted his nose but otherwise ignored the bike. He was alert the whole stretch, his eyes wide and taking in the scene around him.
