Trying my hand at drawing a realistic dragon. Couldn't help myself after that first episode of S7 Game of Thrones. I'm even modelling this dragon's face on Drogon because those GoT wyverns manage to be both badass and cute at once. The rest I'm just looking at a few dragon pics to get a good idea of body shape and anatomy (not that there's any rules thank god). I personally prefer the aesthetic of 6 limbed dragons but there's always a voice whispering 'but wyverns are more scientifically plausible' xD

I can see this piece taking weeks to finish but I reckon I'll keep on designing a few others. Redraw the other white dragon I have in my gallery because the face and feet look bloody awful. I'll probably get sentimental with this dragon; probably find a name for him... along with all my dragon ornaments. Feck it... I'll probably just steal movie dragon names for my ornaments and I don't know, use Tolkien Elvish to name any of my characters. Ah the things I do to occupy my mind.

Got 3 or 4 art works on the go at the moment with about 7 total waiting on the sidelines and another few waiting in a mental list. I'm sure all that will keep me occupied for a year or three.
