Description
I've made a fair few adjustments to this dragon; mostly to the anatomy. And of course this is yet another time I realise my terrible habit of starting pieces that are far too ambitious when really I should be sketching simpler angles and poses first xP But never mind, I'll take the long way round just once more.A lot of this is still scruffy of course, I'm still figuring a few things out (took me two days to work out how I wanted the feet to look and I'm still guessing), and the tail and wings have some more serious editing to make them look how they should. The wing needs one more finger and the tail needs the right look of depth to better show how long it is (as little over the length of the body, head and neck combined). Other than that, hopefully the perspective makes enough sense.
Also, I'd just like to add the way this dragon has his head thrown all the way back isn't the general 'resting/relaxed' position. And that means the plate scales on the underside of the neck would have to raise and separate (in order to have room for the neck to straighten out and bend down, where the scales would be laying flat and slightly overlapping each other). As much as it's a made up creature, I like things to make sense physically (as crazy as it makes me going into such details lol). Another example would be having very small scales wherever there's a joint otherwise the points of large scales would stick into each other maybe. I don't know I'll have to take another close look at spiny snakes and lizards.
Anyways, before I go crazy with the details, I hope one of you awesome peoples will let me know if anything looks wildly off with the anatomy

Waah so many details, the scales look amazing! As for the anatomy, fantastic work. The only thing I'd say is that perhaps you could make the muscles a bit more pronounced where the wing is attached to the shoulder. But that's all I can think of regarding the anatomy. Loving the soft color scheme <3
