Uh. More practice with Paint Tool SAI.It's hard. And confusing. But I certainly know more about how to use it than I did the last practice I posted. XDXD
I used a lineart because I just wanted to practice the coloring. Not so much the linework, so yeah. Plus I love Rin and Len.
Ugh there are so many talented artist who use SAI and it's ghkdsfjlhaskfjahdf
But I'm getting better so it's okay.
Tell me what you guys think and what I can improve upon.

once you learn how to use the tools, you'll be unfreakingstoppable. I never use the lineart layers in SAI because they can be a pain in the butt, but they're vectors, so you can resize them without pixelating, so they have their advantages. Instead, I always use the pencil tool and the brush tool for lines. Occasionally watercolor (like I did for Evangeline's commission).
This is awesome, though! I, too, love these two!

Ahah, you think so?
Oh, yeah, I did use the lineart layer and it was kind of a pain. I've seen you resize and move portions of the lineart around when you livestreamed, though. Is that what you mean?
I am loving the watercolor tool so far. XDXD
Thank you so much! I think they're my favorites. ^^

yeah!
And, yeah, I suppose. But I meant if you were to resize the lineart layer to make it huge or itty bitty, the vector lines wouldn't get pixellated at all. It's not a huge concern if you're not resizing.
Yesss! Watercolor tooooolll!!!
You're welcome!

Oh, okay. Usually I don't resize a bunch. ^^
I did notice a feature where you could change the color of the lines individually which I thought was pretty cool. Anything else fun it does?
I love ittt.

I'm not sure. I don't really like the pen layers that much. Haha. I only use them if I'm doing something that will need to be resized constantly, like the logo for my Dad's business.
I'm weird. If the lines are too clean it looks really stiff to me (for my OWN work!), so I'm pretty jealz of people who can get beautiful, clean lineart down without it looking boring!

Nicely done. You have a good eye for coloring, and you'll only get better the more you practice. Of course, this compliment is somewhat ironic coming from me, since I only do lineart 'cuz every time I color, it tends to ruin my picture Incidentally, if you're interested in more coloring practice, feel free to use some of my pics.

The coloring is great, Greta! Keep practicing and you'll improve, I think the hardest to do in SAI is the linework. you're already doing well with coloring, i suggest you move on and practice digital lineart too! <33

That's how I see it, it took me a while to get used with digital drawing in general, but linework was especially a pain to me. I had to get used with a small tablet, then I got the big one, but I didn't get to use it a lot and it broke so now I had to accustom back again with the small one, the Bamboo. I'm much more confident working in traditional mediums, but that doesn't necessarily apply to everybody. Just keep practicing in whatever medium/manner you can!

I don't really like the lines either. I wish I could just use my traditional lines but it just looks bad. D:
I was thinking of getting the Bamboo. How is it?
I am too. I want to get stronger with digital, though.
