Hey, everyone! The Amazon Arrow graphic novel crowdfunding campaign is coming up in just a few days! I'm making final tweaks to my campaign graphics and coloring images around the clock. I'm not sure exactly when the launch date will be, but I am expecting it to kick off before the end of this month!

So here's a first look at a digitally colored interior page! This isn't quite final because I still need to add word balloons and a few special lighting effects (and to be honest, I'll probably be tweaking things right up until I have to send it to the printer), but this is pretty close to what the final product is going to look like. I've been working on this page specifically because it's one of the hardest pages in the book to pull off. There's no action. There isn't much dialog. There isn't any place to "hide" behind cool motion graphics, crazy perspectives or special effects. I figure if I can pull off a page like this and it's still visually interesting, then coloring the rest of the book is going to be a piece of cake! Hopefully it still looks like my 3D characters AND a 2D comic at the same time.
