(Another strange idea. Gradients EVERYWHERE. I hope Luna's eye looks like an actual eye and colors are not shitty.)Backstory: As Royal sisters were preparing for the Eclipse Celebration, there was strange activity on the Sun. And Celestia felt it but she thought it will gone. When Princesses started casting their Eclipse spell powerful solar storm went through Moon and was drag in by them. Formed giant magic funnel and sisters got into it.
Double mind, one body, ultimate power over skies and space, infinite amount of magic - nothing is impossible for her (them?).

I think this is a case of : If you put your head in the oven, and your feet in the freezer, your middle will be temperate/lukewarm.
