~.~Author's POV~.~
You sat by the window, listening to depressing music. You just moved to Burgess, you were happy to move to place where it snows, but was sad to leave home. You left your best friends behind, your city, and the guy you had a crush on. You just wished they could be here with you, but you can't always get what you want no matter how much wish for it. You moved because your mom just got a new job and it required her to move. Your family really needed the money and your mom finally got the job she wished for as a child. So it's not like you can say no.
Looking out the window, you see children playing outside with snow. You soon saw your brothers going out to introduce themselves. London, the second eldest (your the oldest), was as cheerful like always. He was eleven and had ADHD. He acts like a child, but he works hard to learn. Zachary, the youngest, came out behind him and gave a little wave. The six-year-old little runt was shy at first, but very quickly goes to be his very loud, very happy ways. He had Dyslexia and loved school like crazy, even though it was hard for him. Watching them, it seemed like they made new friends. The other children and your brothers ran off to play at the park few blocks away. 'They look like their having fun.... I hope Jack Frost doesn't get them sick. I'm going to be so pissed if he does."
You believe in Jack Frost like your brothers. It seem childish to still believe in him, but you're just happy that you still have what little innocence you had left. You also believed in Santa Clause, the Tooth Fairy, Sandman, and the Easter Bunny. Thinking about that reminded you of home where you first believe in them. It made you had the homesick feeling you been trying to push away.
You looked out the window and it was starting to get dark. You got dressed in the proper attire to go out in the snow, but had a little less than what you needed. The cold never really bother you. Your friends thought it was weird that you never got cold even when it was the coldest day ever. Going to the park, snow started to fall. It was the first time seeing it fall. It gave off a nice feeling. 'You getting off track . Time to get the boys' you thought while shaking your head lightly.
When you got there, you saw your brothers build a snowman. " !! !! Look! We build a snowman!!" London yelled a little to loud for your taste. You smiled and said "It's very cool, London, but we have to go home now." "Awww. Can we stay just for five more minutes." Zachary begged with his big puppy eyes. That looked killed you. In the end you gave in. They both ran to their newly found friends and told them that they're going to leave soon. They nodded in response. You looked away to admire the snow for the first time. It was very beautiful and calming. You looked back and saw that they started to throw snowballs at each other. You also saw a strange boy. 'Hmm weird' I guess they decided to have a snowball fight before London and Zach had to leave. You sat on the bench and watch them play. As much as it looked fun, you couldn't play. You felt too depressed and tired to even think of playing.
One thing kept playing on your mind though. Who is that weird boy? You looked closely at the boy. He's about 17 to 18 years of age with white hair and very bright blue eyes. He looked extremely weird, but had this cool factor to it. He wore a blue hoodie with frost around the edges and wore brown leather pants. Also NO shoes!! Was he trying to get frostbite!! Plus he had a staff that had a G shape at the end of it. You just thought maybe he's one of the other children relative or something.
"BOYS!!! Time to leave. Tell you friends bye." They both awed and the weird white haired boy had sad expression. 'Weirdo'. As they said their goodbyes, your eyes suddenly got locked on with the teenage boy. Something inside you wouldn't let you take your eyes off of him. He looked at you with curious eyes. Like if he was waiting for something to happen.
"Okay we're done . Let's go home" London said along with Zachary. You nodded and looked back at children. You gave them slight nod and saw that the boy was gone now. You felt even more sad, but you don't know why. As you were walking home with your brothers at your side, you didn't notice a pair of blue eyes following you.
When you got back to the house, you saw that the house was looking like a house now. It looked like a room filled with boxes in the morning and now it look like a normal house. 'Wow. Mom really wanted the unpacking done fast'. The boys ran upstairs and said that they we're going to play some videogames before they get ready for bed. Your parents weren't here either so you assume that they went to bed early or went shopping or something.
You went to your room and decide to read a book before going to bed. You picked a random one from the box of books. Since you didn't finish unpacking, you had lots of boxes in your room. You pick a new book you haven't read yet. It was called 'Bad Girls Don't Die'. It looked interesting and so you started reading by the window ledge. You had this weird sensation that someone was watching you. You ignored it though. Maybe it was bird or a cat.
~.~.Jack's POV~.~
I followed the new girl and her brothers home. Originally I came back to visit Jamie, Sophie and his friends Hey look. I'm no stalker, but the girl looks interesting and there's something about her that is pulling me towards her. Once they reached their house, I went around the house and through the window I saw her enter the room that's filled with boxes. She opened a box and picked out a book. 'Ugh. Books. Why read a book when there is snow outside to play in? I mean snow if more fun than a book, right?'
As she starts to read the book, the moon comes out and the light hits her. 'Woah. She's really beautiful.' The light makes her seem so innocent, like angel. I back up against the tree and sit on the branch near 'Now I feel like a stalker. Just watching her from afar. God i should leave and cause more snow days.' I got up and I was going to call the wind to take me to the next, but the girl was looking my way. I wasn't sure if she could see me. I mean not many teenagers believe in me or the other Guardians. She smiled at me and then return to the book.
Just to get rid of the sensation I get from her, I called the wind to take me to another town. 'Next time I come back to Burgess, I'm gonna learn her name.'
