These ARE NOT MY DESIGNS, ALTHOUGH I DID ELABORATE A GREAT DEAL ON XELLOSS'S ARMOR. THEY ARE HOWEVER OFFICIAL DESIGNS OF THE CHARACTERS AS THEY APPEAR IN THE MANGA.

Hajime Kanzaka's three mazoku generals still living after the Koma War (War of the Monsters' Fall): Left to right, SHERRA GRAUSHERRA (General of King Dynast Grausherra, Northern Mazoku Red World Border), XELLOSS METALLIUM(General AND Priest of Greater Beast Zelas Metallium, Southern Mazoku Red World Border), and DEEP SEA RIKSFALTO (General of Lady Deep Sea Dolphin, Western Mazoku Red World Border).

Can you tell that this stuff fascinates me ? lol. I was surprised to discover that all of these characters, every single mazoku, has a real (aka not just pop culture) literary counterpart in the Elder Futhark, and in a 17th century European Demonology book based on it. Who knew, lol!

I decided to draw these lovely evil peopleses because villains are fun and because I have never disciplined myself to do a full page character chart in an anime style. Well, albeit a bit flamboyant in orange col-erase, , here it is.

I know very little about Sherra and Riksfalto, who only appear in the Japanese-only manga. What I can glean, however, is that Sherra is a cold, strategizing, icy type, while Riksfalto is allegedly loud, brassy, and obnoxiously blunt (hence her extremely odd hairstyle and battle scar). Xelloss is probably the most popular character short of Lina in the entire Slayers fandom, so I doubt he needs much of an introduction here, aside that he is just a delicious, tasty man, and perhaps a bit more complex and 3-dimensional on the moral "good or evil" question. Ironically he's also the most powerful of the three, hands down, in fact the only mazoku who did anything noteworthy in the Koma War (killed a devastating number of dragons and destroyed innumerable copies of the Clare Bible). He's also the only character who ever exhibits more than a cruel passing interest in humanity, and who may actually be in love with another character (cue the Xellos and Filia debate lol).
