(a little note, my characters change forms when they enter different universes, form some damn reason, my character turned into Hound, but I am able to transform into my other forms as well so I'm not stuck X3)
me: *wakes up on a beach* hm? *notices my now furry arms* what the hell?
Moriarty: *sees me* Hound! I'll get you this time!
me: what the! *gets kidnapped*
*the next day*
Watson: *reading the paper* *!?* Hound kidnapped by professor moriarty!?
Ms. Hudson: but that's impossible, Hound is sleeping in his bed right now!

Oh wait I forgot a verse in that second Linkin Park song *doubts that anyone cares, but damn it, I am loyal to my obsessions, GYAH-hahahhaa!!!*

So the first part of that final verse of "In the End" sounds like what Moriarty, once Holmes's trusted mentor, would say (again, you would probably have had to see "Young Sherlock Holmes" to understand why):
"Things aren't like the way they were before
You wouldn't even recognize me anymore
Not that you knew me back then
But it all keeps coming back to me
In the end
And even though I tried, it all fell apart"

And the very end of the song really sounds like it would be Holmes's response: "I've put my trust in you
Just as far as I can go
There's only one thing you should know
I've put my trust in you
But in the end, it doesn't even matter."

Sad, huh? In Spielberg's slant on the Holmes stories, Mori was Holmes's math/fencing professor and mentor at his college preparatory boarding school and they became extremely close, almost like a father and son. Then Holmes found out Mori was a criminal behind his back, worked madly to incriminate him to Scotland Yard, and in revenge Mori tried to kill him, accidentally killing Holmes's only true love. So there's a ton of mutual resentment--Mori feels constantly undercut by Holmes, but Holmes feels justified in uncercutting his lover's murderer and his betrayor.

Oh, another song by Linkin Park that really suits him here is "In the End": Imagine him saying this to ole Sherlock , sort of a bitter epilogue when the Hound beats him yet again
