Description
This little piece was made on a whim to finish off some blue paints I had previously mixed for a water scene I was teaching myself how to paint. Using leftover paint and a barely usable piece of scrap paper I wanted to test my skills with the following criteria:

-freehand drawing an unknown portrait with no practise before the final piece
- only using one colour for the whole piece
- painting a business card sized piece of work

Overall I was completely blown away with how well it turned out! So I trimmed the edges, signed it and mailed it to my dear friend and fellow artist Rowan McCulloch (@rowanmcculloch on instagram) in hopes that someone else might share in my joy for this little challenge.
