Description Yeah...I honestly don't know what's going on in this picture. Feel free to make up your own dialogue. Haha. I made this around the same time as the other one . It's supposed to look as though this was the moment before the photo was taken. This is also supposed to show more of the kids' (made up) individual personalities since it's like a "candid" shot. But anyway, however you interpret it, I hope you Enjoy!

I love your work with this family. They are perfect to be Ed’s family. I could imagine them any other way. I’m glad there are such creative fans of this series like you. This one of my favorite post series works I’ve seen. It’s so well executed. I wish I could draw anime and manga like this. All your work is so inspirational. Keep up the Good work. Anyway, off that side note, here is the dialog I came up with:

Winry:Β  Oh c’mon Michael. You’ll look so cute with this in your hair.

Michael: *Groans*

Leon: Hey Nick. Look out or you’ll be the next to feel mom’s wrath. I bet you’d look really cute with that bow too. *Snickers*

Well, I'm not the person who drew this deviation. Sorry if my comment confused you or anything. ^^'

I would want to try drawing them, if the artist who drewΒ  this doesn't want to, but I'm not too good at group shots, nor do I want to use the characters she made up forΒ Ed and Winry'sΒ children, because then it'd feel like I was stealing them. >.<

And yeah, that word does sound funnier.Β xD I just thought it was some random word before I foundΒ out what it actually is.Β xP

I love the way you did the two portraits! It accents the first family portrait in showing their unique personalities. I could see Edward laughing in this situation, so he's still in character, and Winry is as well. I enjoy these two portraits so much! Even though I can't draw, I still love art. I love finding great and exceptional FullMetal Alchemist fan art, and this is definitely one of my special favs now :3 I hope to see more!

There is so much going on in this little scene. Clearly, they all inherited some of Dad's mischiveousness--look at all those smirks! The one holding the wrench has a healthy dose of it, too. And Ed is having wayy too much fun laughing to himself.

You would never guess the formal picture of picture one could hide this much chaos.

I love how you can tell who's personality traits each child picked up. And I can't tell, but who did you have Ed laughing at? With everyone being so nutty, I can't tell if it's a specific child/ situation, or just all the craziness in general.

Thank you! Uhm...I'm not sure. Like I said in the description, I have no clue whatsoever about what exactly is happening in this picture. I just threw in the different aspects I thought a "candid" picture would normally have. You can use your imagination to decipher what going on.

Hehe, that's great!!! I'm just as in love with the couple, and I've actually been writing a future fic. It's not focusing on just them, but the whole cast; still, EdWin, I think, is always adorably awkward and necessary in fics, no matter what their age. Especially when you have their kids around to talk about it!!! You can read if you want, as I've posted it under this same username on FanFiction (still too lazy to post it on here). It's only the first chapter at the moment, and Ed and Win aren't exactly in it, but there's mention of them, and they'll eventually make their appearance. I'd absolutely love the feeback if you could read!!!

Hehe, I know, right? The only other romantically awkward couples I can think of are... a) Kukai and Utau from Shugo Chara. They're exactly like Ed and Win except Utau's the hotheaded, pressurized one, and Kukai is easygoing and has a more carefree view of life, yet can be serious when he needs to be. Then there's... no one else I can really think of... XD

Awww...*faves* They look like such a rowdy family! LOL I love how you showed all of their personalities! They look like they're having so much fun! This makes me wonder how many children Arakawa had in mind when she mentioned there being "quite a few" children...(I read the description from part one) I wouldn't be surprised if they'd had like seven or eight! lol OMG I couldn't imagine, but somehow I wouldn't put it past Ed and Winry to have that many either...

Actually looking at the original family picture I kind of thought "I bet there ends up being more than two"...just because they still looked fairly young in the picture...

I wonder if Al actually got together with Mei...and if so...I wonder how many children they had....lol sorry, just musing!

Thank you so very much! I'm really glad you like it. LOL Yeah in my opinion, I doubt they would ever be a normal, calm and placid family. Considering how energetic and animated Edward and Winry are, I bet on a normal day there would hardly be a boring moment. It makes me so anxious to know what Arakawa had in mind too! I wish she would at least make an omake or OVA on it. I would die happy. Haha! I expect a lot if she did, though. I mean, if you look at how she made Ed and Winry's childhood, you can hardly blame them for wanting a big family. The case would probably be the same for Al and Mei. Sure, Mei technically has a bunch of brothers and sisters but they all were all trying to kill each other over the throne and the apparently the emperor didn't give a crap. Ooh...now I'm rambling. Anyway! Thank you for faving and adding your imput! I really appreciate it.

Ramble away! HAHAHA!!! I was rambling yesterday after-all...An OVA or Omake would be amazing! Or just a sequel! lol...
I agree about Ed and Winry being energetic...it would seem only natural that their children are the same! It'd make a great fanfic! (i'm sorry, that's the fanfic writer/future author in me...it's an "occupational hazard" as Ed would say...^^')

Haha I can relate. When I'm walking around outside and I see something that catches my eye I literally stop and say ,"IT MUST BE DRAWN!!" and I whip out my sketchbook like Steve and his "handy dandy notebook" from Blues Clues. I doubt you actually do that though. My friends say that I'm just a weird person. Haha. Anyway, I normally use Photoshop Elements 8 and a Tablet to color my stuff. I have to use it on my friend's computer though because I'm a hobo and can't afford my own.

The problem with me is when I'm reading books and it ends on a cliffy i cant stop thinking about how i would write the next book! lol I dont carry my sketch book with me, but perhaps I should start! One of these days I should just walk in my woods and draw something cool!

Photoshop seems to be the popular answer...I guess i really should invest in it...=]

There's also Gimp which is like Photoshop but it's free to download online, and has a lot of similar features, and you don't need a manual for it. From what I've seen it's great for line art (I'm about to make one of those), and from experience, the blending tools work really well.

Thank you very much! Well, I kinda explained this in my other picture (link in the description), but according to Arakawa's "FMA Chronicle" she mentions that they have more. That's what inspired me to draw this.

Well, it's not in an OVA exactly. The "FMA Chronicle" is actually somewhat of a guidebook that Arakawa made that includes special features, timelines, collaborations, original sketches, and all that fun stuff. I about had a fangirl spasm when I first found out about it. It's not translated yet as far as I know though.
