I've read a lot of Pokemon creepypasta, but I suppose I'm just used to Pokemon being a happy-go-lucky, Nintendo brand so I've never been able to see a grotesque Pikachu or other Pokemon as scary o_o But eh, that's just me xD

The reason it's scary is that you really don't want to see stuff like that in pokemon, so when your mind registers pokemon, it remembers nice and cute. Not dark and nightmarish. Same goes for Sonic.exe and Mario.exe

*nod* That's understandable, but ironically I also didn't find Sonic and Mario.exe to be scary, I mean... I can understand how the nostalgic nice and cute images being skewed and mangled would be scary to it's fans...
I think that's it, I've never been a major fan of Pokemon, Sonic or Mario xD I don't have lots of memories playing those games and absolutely loving them, so when I read those types of creepypasta, it's like firing an arrow at a brick wall for me, lol.

actually I've found creepypasta's covering call of duty, halo, fallout, etc. so there's allot but i primarily listen to them so i can only find readings of those in Spanish which is odd. Also i have to disagree on "Mr. Widemouth" it is creepy but i just like it because its well written and the scariest I've ever read was also my first its a little blood coated gem called "under the bed" and i avoid it at all costs.

Yeah, I'm relatively new to Creepypasta though, so I have yet to fully get my hands on all of it. I mainly listen to Mr. Creepypasta's readings lol
