Aaliyah's encounter with percy didn't end so well, once the Fat controller heard of the predicament, he later sent her off to the Tidmouth coaling plant to to some extra work as a punishment.

Luckily Aaliyah had much knowledge of shunting, but what she didn't account for was the condition of the trucks, the trucks were rotten and rusted, and it looked like they havent been used in a long time. Because there weren't any other trucks to use, Aaliyah had to put up with using the crappy ones.

from time to time around the coaling plant the trucks would cause problems for her, their breaks would be stiff, their frames would buckle under the weight of the coal, and worst of all, their doors would sometimes burst open, spilling coal onto not only the track, but Aaliyah as well. for hours she'd have to clean everything up, get more loads and repeat the process over, and over again.

By the time she was on her 15th round, and engine came into the yard. It whas Thomas, he was getting ready for a passenger run on his branchline and needed to fill up on coal when he stopped and looked at Aaliyah, who was parked waiting for her driver and fireman to get off their lunch break.

"Well bust my buffers, you must be the visitor that dressed as my friend Percy."

Aaliyah growled. "yes, and I don't want any distractions, rotten trucks have given me trouble all day."

Thomas glanced over to the trucks, seeing their rusted and worn appearance. "you could have asked someone to get you some proper ones, you didn't have to use these old things"

Aaliyah weeshed angrily, blowing steam in Thomas' direction.

Thomas looked cross and wanted to tell her off, but Aaliyah interrupted.

"this extra work is all because I decided it would be funny since an engine confused me for being your silly friend."

"like being cheeky?" Thomas said

Aaliyah paused, she never heard an engine ask here something like that before.

"in some ways, yes, It does feel cheeky" she said

"well funny enough when I was younger I liked to act like that too". Thomas smirked, "Of course It also landed me into trouble a few times".

"like what?" Aaliyah asked"

"like the time I went past a danger sign and fell into a mine, that happened around the time I teased Gordon about his incident with the Ditch".

Aaliyah chuckled, she never knew that there would be an engine that acted like her, and it made her feel happy.

Thomas later told Aaliyah about all of his accidents and all the lessons he learnt from them till Aaliyah's crew came back.

"It was fun talking to you Aaliyah, I have to go fill up and get to my job on time. see you later!" Thomas then chuffed away headed to refill his bunker.

Aaliyah just smirked, and happily continued with her job.
