my new digimon, not yet all finished though ^^*

A now forgotten tale once told of how a digimon was created from the shadows of the moon, to be a guardian of those that rest at night. Hidden in the darkness Morrmons was long believed to only be a fairytale, and kept to their purpose of making the shadows, darkness and the night a safe place to hide and rest, far from the scorching sun and those who might see you in the light.
As cats they live in freedom, as an opposite of all the rules from Heaven and light; do as you’re pleased as long as nobody’s hurt, take good care of those you love so you can see them smile, live happily, spontaneity of art, wildness of children’s games, laughter of freedom; all under the gentle but watchful eye of the moon, which opens and closes slowly but steadily as time goes by…

But when the evil used the darkness to either take over or destroy first the digital world, then both worlds, both digimons and humans alike began to see darkness as something evil, not as something necessary for harmony. Scorn and hunted, hated for her nature, Morrmon was now left with walking through the world unwanted by about everyone in it, chased away every time she tried to help, ever since all digimon had learned to hate the creatures of the night.
Soon however most Morrmons had found a new home, welcomed by someone who didn’t look down upon them but welcomed them, taking them in as servants of a new purpose; Ladydevimon saw their potential and slowly but steadily convinced them to leave their former path and instead follow her wishes. Their work for a balance between dark and light and attempts to make the night safe was unwelcomed, the only place they could live in peace now was with her.

Today everyone but the most ancient digimons only know the Morrmons as the black cats of Ladydevimon, as small evil creatures that only do as they’re pleased, ignorant of others. Since those cats would rather defend those they care about (themselves, their queen, and their Godmother (the moon)) than to run around and looking after the ones who they know will just hate them in the end, they are still to this day seen as evils.

Morromons still love company and to make friends, and will do anything to help the ones they care about, but time has made them cautious of others, and once again they are rarely seen…

(through all stages this cat remains a virus-type unless someting happens that makes her digivolve away from this line of black cats. I'll probably not do anything like that though ^^*)

Rookie; Morromon (Morr= Growl, in Swedish)
As Morromon was intended to only be around at night she is quite restricted in her powers at day, and would need to find shadow to be able to digivolve at all, no matter how much she's eaten. In a desert at midday she wouldn't be able to use any of her powers at all. On the contrary she's at her peek at midnight and is then a rookie to be counted with.

Attack;
Tailcut; a blank blade is sent out from her waving tail, flying spinning towards the opponent
Cat’s claws; a simple cut with the three claws of whatever paw that might hit, dripping Momon’s ink into the wound to infect it

Champion; Klomon (Klo= Claw, in swedish)
Attack;
Moonscythe; a blade like the waning moon is cast at the opponent, deceivably shaped to turn in the air and come back to attack from behind in case it was avoided at first
Crimson claws; An attempt to set her claws in her opponent that doesn’t even have to hit, as long blood-red stripes are formed in the air to lash at the enemy, not causing huge wounds, but thin deep ones.
Black cat’s luck; the curse of a black cat, which gives the opponent a horribly back luck with anything they might attempt, be it attacking, defending, fleeing or even getting out of the way. Somehow everything is bound to go wrong…

Ultimate; Catenamon (Catenam = Chained, in Latin)
Catenamon is a bit of an oddity, even for digimons. After going into one too many battles, unwillingly fighting and hurting others, all Catenamons decided to let themselves be tied up with the chains originally used for their Guillotine Chain-attack, making them unable to be the first one to strike in a fight. As the chains are the only thing they can put up as a shield to defend themselves it is designed to be the first thing to get hit when someone goes offensive on them, so in the case of being under an attack the padlock will break and they will be freed to return the favor.
However, with the chains still in place, Catenamon can only perform one attack, the Cat’s Shriek, which makes the opponent unable to attack her, and thus freeing her for further battle…
All in all she's now a digimon not quite intended to fight

Attack;
Cat’s shriek; (The only attack which can be performed as long as the chains are tying her down.) A high-pitched shriek that in some cases can break glass and give humans a ringing in their ears for about half an hour, designed to disrupt the data-flows in other digimons. Not enough to hurt them, but it will mess up anything that is forming into energy that is leaving their bodies; Anything from punching fire to breathing ice, electricity to knives, throwing goo to creating an earthquake; everything that is not a plain physical attack will backfire and only hurt the one performing it.
Guillotine Chain; Swinging the chains that once held her prisoner Catenamon sends out three sharp blades towards her opponent, with the single intention to have their head off.
Dark Wings' Shadow; With her wings freed Catenamon can now rise up into the air, unfolding her wings enough to block out the sun and spread a darkness that blinds everyone around her that is not designed to live at night, friend as well as foe.

Mega; Pallitamon (Pallita = Masked, in Latin)
Even though she’s only holding the mask in front of her face nobody’s ever really seen Pallitamon’s true appearance, so it isn’t really clear if she is the cat she claims to be, or humanoid as the body would indicate…
Attack;
Masks of the Masquerade; An illusion causes the opponent to not only see (as well as hear, smell and feel) moving, living copies of Pallitamon a bit of everywhere around them, but everyone else suddenly appear to be as well. There is no way of telling a copy or a friend from the original…
Stitched Up; making opponent have stitches appear in rows about everywhere, as if they had once been sewn together like a plushtoy. Loose ends is hanging from all of these rows, leaving it free for Pallitamon to pick and choose which thread to pull to undo the stitches, making the body-part they were attaching to the body to simply fall off
Full Moon Shards; Summoning a full moon Pallitamon then crushes it and sends the shards out, flying like a million pieces of white glass, cutting the opponent into pieces; one can’t block them all, and they fly as if controlled by an un-existing wind, returning again and again, striking from about everywhere that the digimon who created them see fit.
