Description
My redesign for Goku.I was trying to get his design a little closer to his Monkey King roots. (journey to the west)
I hope everyone isn't upset with what I changed.

Though, I cannot see how Goku would be to fight in this costume. it needs to be slightly more practical considering he is a Martial Artist, these can be his festive clothes.

My plan was to have him loose the robe and belt at the start of a big fight. He usually ditches his weighted clothing once a fight gets serious.

You want to draw all this stuff on him on every panel? Thats hardcore... XD But would be cool.
I have to snicker at how almost every western artist draws the nek-opening/ collar (?) of a douji the wrong way XD the opening is facing right, not left (sorry, I do martal arts, whn I put it on wrong I was scolded by my sensei, so I remember it)

Let's see, his hair is shorter and looked a little controlled. I see a faint signs of facial hair. His eyes are definitely not black dots and slightly large (in canon his eyes are more tall than large). A more duller orange with a fancy belt, well suited to be husband of Princess Chi-Chi.

As far as his facial hair. I always thought. "He's Goku, he doesn't have time to stay clean shaven. Hes off training!"
