"Calm Redux"

Triceratops horridus, Anzu wyliei, generic enantiornithine bird. An acrylic painting of a napping Triceratops and a friendly pair of Anzu oviraptorsaurs.

This is a follow up to an older painting I did a few years ago of the same characters. This was inspired by a scene I saw driving up to Eureka in northern California. A group of hikers were all standing atop a fallen redwood, about ten or so of them on the giant dead tree. I used a lot of reference from my various trips with friends to Muir Woods just north of San Francisco.

Completed on the 30th of August 2015.

Done using acrylics and watercolor pencils.
