"Taking a Break"Deinonychus Antirrhopus. A pair of Deinonychus take a break on a hill. The one on the left, sitting, is a male while the one standing is a female. A pair of primitive birds can be seen while a pterosaur glides toward extinction in the distance. This was done in 2005.

wow i love it the detail is amazing. i like the wing feathers starting to grow and the way u said the pterosaur "glides towards extinction" its awsome. the landscape has such amazing detail well done

Aww.. thats sweet of ya to say. But have u seen my more recent dino-illustrations? They're much better than this one or the crylophosaur
And since you're an Aussie who likes animals, I happen to know a talented young Aussie wildlife artist who u might like [link] I'm not sure if u've seen her work, but she's awesome.

Lovely work. Definitely can see the Greg Paul influence, but that's a good thing.

This is actually what drew my attention to your gallery Well done scene and accurate anatomy that made me think you were influenced either by Gregory Paul or Luis Rey. That is always a good thing as long as you don't overdo it

I used Greg Paul's Predatory Dinosaurs of the World as my source material for this. Wish he made a more up-to-date version of the book.
