Description
"Eliminating the Competition"Dakotaraptor steini, Tyrannosaurus rex. A pencil drawing of the recently described and huge dromaeosaur from Hell Creek.
Here we have a Dakotaraptor snacking on a hatchling Tyrannosaurus that got separated from its parents. Basically some interspecies competition. I'd imagine both species would have competed and targeted one another's offspring.
Completed on the 29th of October 2015.
Done using pencils.

"Look at you, little one! One day you could be the apex predator of this region, a supreme combination of size and raptorial power! But unfortunately, for you that day will never come, because for now, you are just a snack!"

I could see that Dakotaraptor being a movie villain.

At least we know Rex had an enemy; this should make up the nannotyrannus oasis

You should do the opposite where a Tyrannosaurus kill a Dakotaraptor for food resources then.

Not really a "worthy adversary". The mass difference between Dakotaraptor and an adult T. rex is about the same as the mass difference between a large house cat and a human being. It's hardly a fair fight, even if the former was working in a team. Still, for much of their young life, juvenile Tyrannosaurus would probably dread this thing.

Dont be so litteral. I simply meant it could compete with T-rex over food-sources.
