"Mating Colors"Lythronax argestes. An acrylic painting of a Lythronax in with their horns and feathers fully flushed for the mating season.
This is part of my new series of tyrannosauroid portraits I'm doing, which currently feature an adult male Tyrannosaurus, a feeding Teratophoneus, and a juvenile Tyrannosaurus. Next up will be my female Daspletosaurus and a Nanuqsaurus.
Completed in March 2018.
Done using acrylics, color pencils and ink.
