Description Colored it in the few moments of break time we had while cleaning the house. It was a big job.
Lemme know if it is too dark. On my computer it looks fine, but I know that sometimes these don't always look the way they should on other computers.

Godzilla is (C) Toho.

This picture predicted the future because the new Godzilla PS4 Game actually had the Toho and Legendary Godzilla fight each other.

Constructive Criticism Time! It is pretty dark and Godzilla is like half as tall as Godzilla. But overall very nice!

Man, that darkness is gonna be a real hard thing to do right. And I knew there was a bit of a height difference, but Godzilla ain't that much smaller than Godzilla now. Or at least not that Godzilla. Godzilla's up there as one of the bigger Godzillas.

And thanks!

Fun fact: if you're generous and take into account all the different movie, comic, and cartoon universes there are 15 versions of Godzilla (with some caveats).

1) The original from 1954.
2) The goofy Showa version who dances and flies from the second movie until the 70s.
3) The more serious Heisei version from the 80s and 90s.
4) Godzilla Junior, who was full grown/reborn at the end of Godzilla vs. Destoroyah. (And is one of the generous inclusions).
5) Godzilla 2000
6) Godzilla 2000's physically identical but different version from Godzilla vs. Megaguirus. Particularly weird because the movie starts with its own timeline 7) that suggests he is also the original Godzilla, and in his world the Oxygen Destroyer was never invented.
8) The GMK Godzilla (another generous inclusion, since he's technically the original after regenerating and being possessed).
9) The Godzilla that fought Kiryu.
10) The Godzilla from Final Wars.
11) The Godzilla from the 2014 movie.
12) The Godzilla from the Hanna Barbera cartoon (the one with Godzooky).
13) The Godzilla from the old Dark Horse comics.
14) The Godzilla from the even older Marvel comics, who fought all of the Avengers at once and won.
15) The Godzilla from the IDW comics right now – which in turn has six series in different versions of their Godzilla universe, so that would push the number to up to 20!

As a bonus there are four "clones" across these realities: Biollante (human spirit [somehow]/rose/Godzilla), Space Godzilla (Godzilla/unknown crystalline life form), Orga (Godzilla/Millenian alien), and Kiryu. Kiryu is weird because the movies are connected, but inconsistent. The first movie says that he is just a robot with a DNA computer based on Godzilla cells. The second one says that he is a robot suit around the original Godzilla's bones, and possessed by the original Godzilla's soul too, making him a cyborg zombie Godzilla.

Amrock In reply to spinosaurus1 [2014-07-18 21:06:40 +0000 UTC]

We'd have to deal with the winner, who is going to be Godzilla regardless. Fighting a Godzilla that beat Godzilla is a thought that waves white flags in my head just thinking about it.

And thank you!

I will admit it is kinda too dark, but dark enough to contrast just right with the glowing power effects going on with the monsters. Besides that that though this is epic! What versions they or are they the same

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Amrock In reply to Nyfe-Kudos [2014-07-18 15:09:29 +0000 UTC]

Well I'm glad that contrast works, though I'll have to keep playing with it so it'll actually show up.
And they are the 1994 (Mogegoji) and 2014 Godzilla's respectively.

Nyfe-Kudos In reply to Amrock [2014-07-18 18:09:36 +0000 UTC]

Playing with the colors will actually do some good for this if you can find a middle ground to show the details you put into your work as the colors hang in the back. for some reason I thought you pitting the 2000's Godzilla against the 2014

Amrock In reply to Nyfe-Kudos [2014-07-18 21:03:31 +0000 UTC]

Nah, though that does sound like a real cool idea. I went with Godzilla '94 'cause of the new game coming out.

Yeah thats another thing I've been meaning to ask someone. Whats this new game about Godzilla? I only heard little info about it so I assume it's gonna be like those gamecube Godzilla games

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Amrock In reply to Nyfe-Kudos [2014-07-18 22:33:05 +0000 UTC]

So far all I know is that it's on the PS3, these two versions of Godzilla are in it, and from what little bits were shown I know that you can destroy buildings.

Nyfe-Kudos In reply to Amrock [2014-07-18 23:21:27 +0000 UTC]

I hope it plays like "war of monsters" it's an highly underrated monster fighting game where you use your surroundings to your advantage. Fucking loved that game. Regret not picking it up when I had the chance though. I only had the chance to play the demo version which was hella fun with my lil bro and cousin.

Amrock In reply to Nyfe-Kudos [2014-07-19 01:06:27 +0000 UTC]

I get this sorta "Godzilla: Generations" vibe from it, but I'd sure love to be proven wrong with your idea.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Nyfe-Kudos In reply to Amrock [2014-07-19 01:32:17 +0000 UTC]

Yeah from the looks of it it seems that way. Though if that's the case I hope they put more content in the game rather than just practically leaving it at the one player experience and giving a bare minimum to the multiplayer. I do wish game developers would take time out note overlooked good games or at least games that had potential but executed poorly to show'em how it's done

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Amrock In reply to Nyfe-Kudos [2014-07-20 04:59:58 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, same here. And to that, I am still very disappointed that they haven't made a War of the Monsters 2 already.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Nyfe-Kudos In reply to Amrock [2014-07-20 05:23:03 +0000 UTC]

I have the same feeling about that game. I understand how decent underrated games like that get looked over so often from their counter part praised triple A titles that offer so much of the same with an exception of better graphics. I do hope one day Monster of wars get an sequal or at least a game similar to that gameplay and style
