There are no words to properly describe the general Badass that Thane Krios was and always will be.Β
The pet-name I came up for him (Thane The Badass) does it too little justice.Β
Outside of the Player Character, Thane was one of my favorite characters in Mass Effect, period. He was a deceptively complex character, one that would seem stoic and cold at first glance, but if you worked to gain his loyalty and friendship, one would find an amazingly deep and developed character. Had he been able to finish the journey and then continue on, I most certainly think he and Shepard - regardless of gender/romance - would have become one of the closest friends in the galaxy, Garrus aside.Β
This picture works wonders in conveying the stoic nature of the Drell Assassin, as well as his good-nature and well mannered tendency.Β

I could never see Tali in a romantic light. To me she was more "the Aunt who spoiled the kids and ignored the parents". Although Sahara seemed that way to me, too.
