/B/rowsing the Chan of Fovr ultimately brought me to this. I'm sorry.- WRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY -
Disregard that, this was my first time using inks in... years, I guess. Total usage includes 0.5 mechpencil, 0.2 ink and Copics (thanks again, Shinaa~). With a little retouch in photoshop to add the texturing and bg.

I generally think Pyramid Head is overdone and has become blown out of proportion, but this is too good to pass up.

I agree, our beloved Phead has sadly downgraded with the bad movie and now with Homecoming (or so I've heard, haven't played it yet myself tho) from incredibly awesome to incredibly overdone, with no respect to his original purpose. Pretty much makes me wanna weep and strangle people at the same time.

I never played the series much, but from what I've read Pyramid Head's presence in Silent Hill 2 is based almost entirely on the main character's mental state, so isn't it kinda impossible to appear without that character?

Yeah, exactly that. There actually was an obscure red pyramid in a painting later in Silent Hill 3 with stories of "the Red God Xhuchilbara" that could've been presumed as phead.. but even those cryptic rumors were officially shot down by Team Silent.

Oh man, don't I feel like an idiot. There I was, just brozing around until I came across this pic. When I saw it, I was thinking, PH looks pretty damn cool... and then I saw the dead guy James.
