I have to admit I like Damar (in final season) and Dukat (up to final season)

Yeah, I didn't really like Damar much until the final season, he was a bit dull and lacking in personality. I somehow continued to like Dukat in the last season; it's the show's writers I didn't like quite as much at that point... ^_^

yeah. I like how Damar wanted to change and even enlisted Kira's help to rebel... I just wish Damar didn't have to die. I thought of writing a fic that he didn't die, but I never finished it

It made my day when Damar was revealed to actually be an interesting and good character, then they had to go and kill him off. 
I finally got a copy of 'a stitch in time' by andrew robinson (just digital download, unfortunately), and I at least enjoyed getting some more Garak backstory. Garak was awesome and there just was not enough of him in the show.
Regarding Dukat, I think it would have been good for the story if he had died at the end of "Waltz," but he didn't, so I just tried to appreciate the fact that there was more Dukat (even if he did wacky stuff).

yeah. I've slowly started rewatching DS9 again. On the 3rd disc. Did you know Marc played the first Cardassian in TNG?

Yeah, I've been rewatching TNG actually (currently on the last season, but I hadn't watched it since I was a kid). I didn't like the facial hair. Cardassians look silly with facial hair, IMO. ^_^

did you know Marc is actually the role model for the Cardassians in how the ridges on the neck were created.

Yes, I remember reading that somewhere, that they had molded his head/neck and his neck influenced how the Cardassian necks ended up. ^_^ I didn't much like Macet's armor, but I do appreciate the role Macet played in the evolution of what Cardassians ended up looking like (and visually, I still think Marc was the coolest looking Cardassian(s)).
Which reminds me, I have the 9" action figures of Dukat and Garak, and they have normal human necks, no ridges really. It made me sad. Since they're loose figures (bought them on ebay without boxes) I thought I might attempt to fix that problem someday with clay.

I guess the figures were that way because their heads move, and it would cause problems with turning the head, but I'd still prefer they look like proper Cardassians. And Garak's outfit is not my favorite. ^_^

Indeed they aren't. And the whole reason I got the 9" ones is because the smaller ones were really, really bad. But I'm nitpicky and these things bug me a lot. ^_^

I was browsing newest deviations on screenshare with my girlfriend, and we're both DS9 fans. I cried tears of happiness. Not only is this well done, BUT IT'S GARAK.
